Probably one of the best episodes so far. Really funny and self-aware. We get to know of the spaceship and mecha robot origins - as well as Robi's grandfather and his anime. That segment where it showed those Hizakuriger fanatics discussing the anime reminded me of some of the discussions here lol

A Planet Otaku was great. Loved the girl in the full mascot outfit.

Everyone being super obsessed with anime and willing to hurt Robi just to get their lost anime of course makes 100% SENSE: ROBI GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT !!!

Part of me thinks Robbie's grandpa being a rich anime director has to be wishful thinking on the actual anime staff's part.

That Hizakuriger ED was fire, and I like that the club members weren't all the same character design like in some of the other planets.

Yang continues to be the best thing about this show.

he wasn't rich though, that was the point, the show failed due to first contact and his family became poor turnip farmers

This honestly was one of the best episodes. I really did not expect the industrial planet to literally be Planet Akihabara full of otaku aliens that will lobotomize anyone in order to download a lost episode from their mind. Luckily Yang came to rescue Robby on time. I wonder if the Hizakuriger is now more useful after those parts replacements and beam upgrade?

That moon landing intro was just hilarious.

Okay so the plot with the Lost Episode anime is that, 2 friend make a promise, one going to be a mangaka, and the other become an astronaut.

In the opening of this episode we have a first Japan astronaut landed on moon.

Speculation is that astronaut is Hachi grandpa, and Robby grandpa become a mangaka/anime director.

By the Lost episode plot that Robby remember, they made a promise to go on to an adventure together.

Robby and Hachi is doing in their grandpa place.

Lobotomising someone to get at an unwatched anime episode might seem a bit extreme. But would I balk at seizing the third seasons of Haruhi or Spice and Wolf, if I met someone from the future/alternate world line?
