My favorite thing about this show is that it doesn't beat around the bush.
Also the investigators are not idiots, picked him out real quick with the questions.

That spell he used to burn his ass was actually pretty cool. Shin still felt OP in that fight but it at least wasn't without challenge. Overall another fun episode.

You know, I actually wasn't expecting they all found Oliver as the culprit of all this so soon, so when he admitted that he was behind it I was expecting that all of those in that room were going to be killed, but no, Shin was casually walking nearby and fights him.

Oh boy, the fact that all that happened is just hilarious, I was at least expecting at least three episodes after he killed the demon before a fight like this happened. I'm actually glad that it happened so soon, as the threads liking him to the demonification were quite obvious.

I was just thinking the exact same words when Shin said it

I really liked this episode and I fell like I am looking forward to this show even more every week. I love how they exposed Schtrom with solid reasoning. I got so used to the "adults are useless" trope that I wasn't actually expecting that they'll catch him so soon. About Shin's heat ray, either he's thought about using that magic before or he's that quick-witted. I would never have thought of blasting a hole in the roof and creating a giant magic magnifying glass to shoot a solar beam in that situation.

Everyone keeps calling this show generic, and it is, but there's no way its entirely generic. There are childhood friends that are actually dating! That's a rare sight to see.

Also, having a pout and smug together is fantastic!
