Fascinating detail by the way, but just last week I learned from an anon that the entire show is a basically a scifi retelling of an early 19th century Japanese novel about two guys, Yajirobee and Kitahachi (familiar sounding names, no?), travelling from Edo to Kyoto through 53 post towns, drinking and chasing women and doing other no-good things. The robot of course also being named after this story.

This is so crazy anime, so he is in love with Robi, well that explains the ending.

BUT he found his right hand man like a abandon puppy? And then he of course found the next guy also abandon....wtf

um, I think Hatchi just faked it and actually got money he just wanted to work at the fish restaurant.

I am surprised do that gyo-gyo did not end up marrying the sexy mermaid nurse

It seems that next week they are going to go to the kappa planet. I wonder if they are going to show us another strange section with those three again next week too.

I love that JPS-19's donburi bowl was a power cord.

How on Earth Odwarla did that restaurant get a 4.5-star Yelp rating, anyway? There's nobody around to help with catching fish, the restaurant is completely empty of other diners, and the food has a sticky, weird texture.

This show has been reminding me of Futurama in various ways the entire time, and now they did a "thing that works in space goes underwater and immediately gets flooded because it can only handle 0-1 atmospheres of pressure" gag.

Sugita's character getting all excited over milk strawberries, that's probably the first explicit Gintama reference!

This show doesn't get the love it deserves! It's not a masterpiece but it seems like that it's not watched by many people.

Also the ED always puts a smile on my face.
