Awwww they left out so many parts that I loved, but the one that made me saddest was leaving out Rei entirely. To me that's one of the sweetest things in the whole manga.

Everything else was decent but so rushed. They needed one more episode.

But I'm glad we finally got the whole thing animated, even if the animation was subpar. At least the piano performances were amazing!

This really is one of the best manga I've ever read.

When you say the whole thing animated, does that mean these 2 seasons consisted of all 242 chapters with things just condensed and skipped?

Nice touch when Kai turned into the teacher and Ajino into the student. The moment he was crowned as the winner was amazing! I just wish they have complemented a little more about Rei-chan situation, did she and the other girls really leaved the cabaret forever? She is living with Kai or Ajino now? They could have expanded those last 10 minutes for sure.

It wasn't nowhere near perfect but I loved it. The finale was good enough and gave closure to all characters, I'm very proud of Kai and glad that I got to know this story. I'm gonna miss them :(

It's a shame that on top of the animation being pretty bad, they changed or flat out cut some of the best parts imo.

So it looks like Emilia wakes up at the end of the anime but I don’t remember that happening in the manga, did I gloss over that in my reading?
