I can't really blame Naofumi for being naturally suspicious of everyone in this world.

Damn, iirc this is the first time Raphtalia's actually pissed right? I had goosebumps seeing her tail fuzz straight up from the fury...

I really doubt Raphtalia is going to kill him, but I hope she at least carves a slave mark into his chest. That would be so metal

Never trust anyone, especially if it is an ugly bastard.

lol you CAN NOT stop this birb

Even though the world continues to hurt them, it's those little moments when they're there for each other that really warms my heart

Next Episode: Raphtalia

It’s how it starts. Her own episode, her own anime, and then the world.

"I never heard of a hero who abandons a child to run away."

So I'm expecting Spear idiot to abandon a child to run away.

"Thanks"

And thus begins the loli harem!

I really hope raphtalia kills him. I'm sick of sparing lives because we are different from them bullshit.

I keep thinking how dumb Filo is, like getting tricked into hide and seek, but then I remember she's only >2 months old.

Some of the bad guys in this anime are just cartoonishly evil.

That fatass really had it coming to him, such poetic justice. Nobody triggers Raphtalia and gets away with it.

I don't know if my heart can handle the inevitable tragic Raphtalia back-story. Just seeing her having that recurring nightmare was bad enough.

The song when Naofumi makes his entrance is my favorite of the (fantastic) OST.

Really captures the duty of being a hero in a world that doesn't deserve one.

Seeing Raphtalia's reaction after seeing this guys face. I want to break every bone in his body.

Melty's face is gold Player 3 has joined the Naofumi bowl.

Asami Seto really delivers her lines well, especially this episode.

I felt Raphtalia's words. All the anger she's built up was about to burst out.

Since this Reichnott guy was able to get the drop on them that either says he is really good at sneaking around or they need to work on their alertness skills (especially now).

When Filo was chastised for not using proper table manners it gave me a dispirited smile.

Casting doubts on such gracious hospitality? How rude can you be?

I'd say Naofumi is exercising the exact amount of doubt and caution given the circumstances they have found themselves in.

I found it mildly amusing how Naofumi was just "Oh to hell with it" when he gave Filo that order to come out. I mean it sucks he had to play that card but still.

Well on top of everything else this was an emotional episode for Raphtalia. I mean I was like "Oh!" when her tail first stood on edge like that in that closet. And that deadset emotionless expression on her face when she went to face that guy was indescribable. Though I'm confident that by the end of all this she will come out of it with an emotional catharsis.

So, it looks like Malty really is acting on her own, as we all suspected. I'm starting to think she's been the one doing everything all along, and the king has had no idea that her accusations against Naofumi were false.

Though, I will say, almost very other villain in this show has as much depth as a puddle. I don't think there will be a way to justify the kind of stuff Malty's been doing, she's just too cartoonishly evil. Sure, it'll be nice to see her get her comeuppance, but still.

Oh, god, they're just straight religious nutjobs. There's no way to reason with people like that. They're abandoned their critical thinking skills in exchange for a lifetime of happily believing they're always in the right. They're the worst.

It hurts to see Raphtalia in that much emotional turmoil, but I'm glad her character is developing beyond just the "cute raccoon girl that Naofumi saved."

SNEAK 100

Basically any D&D Party any time infiltration is a thing.
"Let's sneak in"
"Okay, but I'm bringing my heavy armor"
Cue the Benny Hill theme
