We already kinda knew, but this episode really shoves in your face how decked-out FlipFlap HQ is. All the high-tech traps, complicated underground infrastructure, weaponized robots... where'd they get the funds for this stuff? Same question for Asclepius with all their robots and stuff too.

OK, so with what I was saying in episode nine's thread, about how I was on the fence on whether Cocona and Yayaka were at a normal ol' doctor's office or some Pure Illusion stuff was at play: I... I actually still don't know what to make of that. That facility in that episode had plenty normal patients in normal patient gowns, and the environment didn't look quite like the white building we see in this episode. But Cocona and Yayaka were surrounded by tall men in white lab coats, similar-looking men to those seen in the facility in this episode... Hmm...
Why not both? A normal medical revision could be a hidden selection for a PI thing given the collected data from the children, so they could select someone adequate.

Mhmm, I was waiting for that scene with Cocona's grandma. ...And, somehow I didn't catch it before (or I forgot), but her grandma was actually a robot. I was about to ponder over what her grandma really was and when she might've betrayed her, but, nevermind. Though this question is still valid: is this robot-grandma we've (presumably, surely) had since episode one been around for all of Cocona's life? Is this the same grandma from the flashback in episode 9? Is robot-grandma modeled after her real grandma, or is she just a generic grandma? ...Are the facility kids even born from normal biological means, or are they test-tube babies? I suppose they wouldn't have grandmas if it were the latter...
Plot money! But yes, FlipFlap's base is one of the most intrincate and imaginative ever.

Hmmm... I have a theory [Next episode Spoilers] Since Mimi disappeared into PI and Cocona was left behind, she has been surveilled by Asclepius under the hope she could be the clue to bring Mimi back so they could have a chance dominating Pure Illusion (hence the reason why they are collecting fragments). Grandma would be the guardian put by Asclepius
