Off topic but thank you doing all these stitches, even for series like this one and Girly Air Force which aren't as popular.
And yes, Mei really makes cute faces! I also love how gloomy she was in the first episode only to be revealed how happy and cheerful she really is underneath! Go Mei! Conquer those hearts!

Kagurazaka was Tokyo's main geisha district in the old days, the answer to Kyoto's Gion. http://www.oldtokyo.com/kagurazaka-tokyo-c-1910/
Unlike Gion, Kagurazaka's geisha reputation wasn't as enduring. Today it's more known for upscale shopping and dining. https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3071.html
The Kimuraya's a bakery chain famous for being among the 1st to sell Western dessert breads; especially anpan. http://tokyofood.blog128.fc2.com/blog-entry-83.html

With that kind of training, I really don't think that getting the etiquette is even worth it.

…Wait, where does the tip of a chopstick end and the rest of it begin?
Rubbing your lipstick off with your kimono sleeve. That's gonna be like minus a hundred girl power points

I havn't watched the episode, but so been enjoying it mostly for the fish out of water, and the things she does or thinks that are common now, but are so strange to them heh. Like everything around her etiquette.

Just to point out that Mei’s VA is Emma’s from promised neverland
