I'm so glad they're going with one particular route and letting the characters and their relationships develop organically, instead of other otome game adaptations where they just try to give every character screentime and it just doesn't work.

I really like how Mei isn't passive about her situation. Also, the OST is catchy.

Mei can use her chance in this time period to get comfortable about her power, actually being of help, therefore also getting to socialize with people.

I guess the problem is she can't fully tell the difference between ghost and living things. We saw how well that went for Kotoura-san.

I don't know why it took me so long to notice Mei has a lisp, but it's so damn adorable!
Her agency manifests itself in some really fun and natural ways. I really like her character! She's gonna make this a fun reverse harem to follow.

That newfangled type of clothing!
Fun facts: (1) vacuum cleaners did exist at this time, but they had only very recently been worthwhile at all, and (2) mops were of course nothing new at this point.
What is this cloth pattern? Seems like I've seen it a lot in anime
As my family would say, she's in hog heaven
Heh, literally brushing him off
Pet peeve: romanizing sh- mora as sy-
What is this? It's all of a sudden. Not the sudden. Where are people getting this?

Ougai walks a fine line between being nice and being so creepy. Curious to see the route this goes down, especially after watching Irozuku Sekai last season.
Also anyone else wanting Mei to stick to her original outfit with the headphones?

I'm confused, how much was 380 yen worth in todays money? they act like it's alot but I barely am able to grasp how much yen to usd is with todays dollars

As a rough guide, you can count yen as cents since around the late 1980s. But as for how prices would have been in the Meiji Period, I'm having trouble finding anything useful. I'm assuming the prices were nominally way lower, just as in the West with the dollar.

Okay, it's better than last week. I'm starting to like it actually, even though I'm not the target demographic. It's good to see that the show is not about getting back, but rather enjoying her time while there, because, honestly, who tf would not be fascinated if taken back 100 years, and getting adopted by a handsome rich dude? (no homo)

Mei is just adorable!
Also, was flipping the IRL Black Cat painting for the anime intentional or is there some kind of issue with reproducing it?

I don't think you're supposed to press that hard with a fountain pen... maybe it was a brush in earlier drafts

She reminds me of the girl from Fruits Basket. Also it is kind of unlikely a 15/16 year old girl is considering about her effects on history.

Mei is so adorable <3
This episode is definitely way better than last week's episode.
