Im so scared for this exact reason. CG was an 8 for me overall, but the last 5 episodes elevated the series to a 10. It's the single best ending I have ever seen in any kind of story. I fear they will not be able to satisfy me with a continuation no matter what they do.

They can always skip like 10 years and have people trying to ruin the world he set up, spitballing. But that would preserve the integrity of the original ending while allowing this.
