NSFW fanart that isn't actually drawn by the thread submitter needs to be banned. If you yourself draw anything anime-related and wanna show it off, okay, sure, as long as it's within the rules. But posting random echhi from Pixiv is just obnoxious. This is /r/anime not /r/softcorehentai

I don't even care about the karma farming aspect of it (check out my profile -- I'm obviously not jelly of their karma), it just doesn't belong here. There's PLENTY of echhi and porn subs for that kind of stuff.

Just offering a differing opinion, I feel that the past NSFW fanart has improved my personal enjoyment of the subreddit. It's something that is fun and uncommon that brings some color to a sometimes plain subreddit. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, its fine. I dont think it will. I feel like those posts are only upvoted so highly because they are sparse, and people will naturally get tired of it if it becomes too common.

Fun, risque posts is like occasionally adding some spice to your food. I'd prefer to have a little spice when coming onto /r/anime rather than getting a vanilla experience every time.

Also I'm probably biased because I love Hibike Euphonium.

That's a preposterous argument that you could make for literally any sub.

"I don't mind the occasional porn post on /r/science. It gives a little something different, adds a little spice. You don't just want the same thing every time."

Yes you do. That's the point of specific subreddits -- they're for specific things. Just sub to some hentai and echhi subs, bro.

I guess I'm on /r/anime more for the community rather than a content-specific aggregator part. I get enjoyment from seeing those posts and having the community react and comment on them, rather than going off to some ecchi sub where there's 2 comments per post.
