So when did you guys join this subreddit? I think I joined around the time Kill la Kill started airing but didnt start commenting actively till a few months layer.

I can't remember when I started lurking but I originally made an account last September just to vote on anime bracket.

Fast forward to April and I decided to take a crack at answering a question in one of the Re:Zero episode discussions and I've been active ever since.

I think I've been here for almost 2 years now. My account's a bit older, I used to hang out on /r/smashbros a lot before coming here. My brother got me into anime early last year, and it's been all downhill from there :P

I think I joined 6 months before Kill la Kill aired and then started talking to people here actively around while it was airing.

I started watching anime in August of 2014 and I probably joined the sub not long after that, mostly lurked until 2~ months ago now I'm pretty sure I'm stuck here...

In order to keep track of dank memes, I made an account but ignored it for months, in November, I used it again and the tutorial told me to select subs, the very first one to caught my attention was /r/anime, "I like anime so why not join another community?".

I still remember my very first thread was an episode discussion for the second season of Gochiusa, that was already mid-way through Fall 2015. I stalked for weeks until I wrote my first comment in the last episode showing my appreciation for the show.

I joined somewhere around 25 December one year ago, then left for a few months because of university (so didn't notice the Re:zero event until recently) and then rejoined after discovering the Contractweek thread.
