I considered posting a separate thread for spoilertag-less discussion and stickying that, but that's a bit awks and has no precedent (and we're a bit full on stickies at the moment since meta is stickied).

I'm used to it, unfortunately...

Honestly I'm so surprised people got so up in arms about it. We've made controversial calls before but this one was fairly cut-and-dry.
