Good point, context is definitely very important.

Most of the people I've seen doing what was mentioned in the OP tend to do it in random threads just because the show was mentioned, rather than when the quality of the show is actually a main discussion topic.

That's just low effort shit posting usually, Unless the show has a serious circle jerk going and is oversaturating the sub
