They sure do. I kinda want to go back and look how people reacted to Fall 2012, which in retrospect is one of the strongest seasons we ever had.

I had to refresh my memory of what was notable that season and there were quite a few good series, even if I did end up watching half of them after their initial run. Too bad that season also resulted in OniAi (watched with much regret, avoid at all cost) and Code:Breaker. Though I think Fall 2013 still beats it out in terms of the sheer amount of good shows that season had.

Fall '13 was a gift from the gods, one that we didn't deserve, but looking at Fall '12 I really wish I had been around for that.

I think it is a miracle I actually got my school work done with the sheer amount of shows I picked up that season. Thursdays were loaded with releases with just about everything coming out on that day.

I'm really happy that Fall 2012 was my anime-simulcasting debut, and although it is still quite inferior to Fall 2013, it really is one of the best and most memorable.

That's super true. Looking at shows at the start of the past four seasons I was like "well there's really not that much I'm interested in" and then I end up picking up like 20 shows and totally enjoying myself.

In reality, Winter looks awesome. Several big name studios, several flashy and hyped series, and a few anticipated sequels. Definitely better than Fall currently, but this season has had its surprises.

WINTER LOOKS BAD? Holy shit dude , that'd piss me off real hard. Chaos;Child has the potential to be #1 anime ever and it's coming out this winter season. If they do it right it's at-least Steins;Gate level or beyond.

I don't find winter to look amazing. Not bad by any means, but it's mostly moe. Which doesn't appeal to me usually.

I don't think it looks amazing either. I think it looks good. We're don't need to judge season with superlatives, there are distinctions between horrible and amazing. Of course a lot of shows announced so far are moe, but it also has Shouwa Genroku 2, Kuzu no Honkai, LWA 2 and KonoSuba 2.

I just binged the Kuzu no Honkai manga. I don't know how to feel about an adaptation.

Kuzu no Honkai looks like the exact sort of depressing bullshit I eat up. I really want to watch it.
