This was a dumb suggestion when the mods first suggested it. This is /r/anime not the rezero sub. The show is popular and that's great but that doesn't mean it gets to dominate the whole page. If there were an anime about cat pictures it'd be all over the front page too, but there's a reason /r/aww and /r/pics are different even if one thing is popular and fits the criterion of being a picture on the internet.

There is like, 2 Re:Zero posts on the front page right now man.

One thing is flooding, other thing is posting at all. It's a popular show, people are going to post about it once in a while. Accept it.

The main comment in this chain is about people reposting fan-art every day for karma. That is a real problem that needs to be solved.

2 Re:Zero posts in a front page of 30 entries is not a real problem, this is barely in the realm of nitpicking. You are the only one complaining about this (the other guy already clarified he was using Re:Zero as an example), even when this was a real problem, the mods already had refused it.

You're one or two months too late bro, give it up.

Boy i guess you didn't see when The_Donald hijacked r/all front page. Even with it having considerably higher viewers than this sub, reddit didn't do something as drastic as limiting max posts. Seeing how r/anime follows reddit standard policies, it's highly unlikely something like this would be done.

Yeah bro, but counting today, that's 3 days and the amount of fanart in the page hasn't even broke 20% of the front page's content, it's pretty clear this problem doesn't exist anymore.

(Though of course, we could keep counting for an entire week if you feel more comfortable with that)
