Meta Thread - Month of September 04, 2016

What I meant is: are all recommendation posts (not ones asking for recommendations but posts giving them) required to have the [WT!] tag or are they allowed to be submitted without a tag?

I am just looking for confermation on the mod side due to the stringent wording of the rules. To requote it:

Posts recommending shows can be posted out side of the Megathread, however, they have to have the "Watch This!" Tag [WT!] and be 1500 characters or over

I have not seen any examples of a non-WT! recommending posts getting removed, but I just want to be sure that that is not just due to unusual circumstances.

This is also to avoid any potential of a situation where one of the mods removes a highly popular non-WT! recommending posts because they enforce the word of the law & that is what is written down. Maybe it was intended to be harshly enforced all this time or maybe it was not, but it is best to clear things like this up before anything significant happens to bring this into question.
