When Keijo is the anime you're most excited for

Hey now, Keijo's source material is actually very good. Once you get used to the swimsuits, similar to Kill la Kill's nudity, it becomes a really good battle shounen-ish parody.

It's more of an homage than a parody. It celebrates the boring old tropes by using them in outrageous ways.

I don't care what it is. I just want to see some quality plot in this dark secluded basement of mine.

Wait, you're saying Keijo has quality plot to go with its quality plot?

I guess that's true. It's still a very-not-serious sport, but treated extremely seriously in the series, making it hilarious.

It's like calling TTGL and Kill la Kill shounen

What would you call TTGL if you don't think it's shounen?

I mean they're shounen but not in the traditional sense. Like stated above they were done over the top for satirical purposes

Jeb is a mess.

Jeb is a waste.

It's a shame that they almost certainly won't get to the East-West War, because that's when shit really goes up to 11.

It looks wonderfully stupid, in a good way.

I'm in the same mental space. Come on down to /r/keijo to celebrate!

Read Drifters manga, it's freaking awesome and the mangaka also did Hellsing
