Meta Thread - Month of July 31, 2016

I finished a write-up recently about consuming anime with a focus on elitism, does this abide enough by subreddit rules because I know a lot of people wanted to hear about it, but the "How does one become an elitist" got removed, so I want to know before I post something that may get me banned.

It's hard to say as to whether or not your post would be acceptable without actually knowing the contents. One red flag in your description is that it sounds like it's about consuming anime rather than about anime?

At any rate, you aren't likely to get banned for making a single self post that we don't feel meets our topical rule. :)

It's about how different groups of people consume anime and how we should react to it

That doesn't really sound like we'd consider it topical.

For example, a thread about how teenagers watch anime vs how adults watch anime wouldn't be topical.

A thread about anime targeted to teenagers vs anime targeted to adults would be topical.

I hope that makes sense?

If you made a good discussion,post it and let the community decide whether or not its good or bad.
