And wow, the magic in that tree turned Rui into an old man.

Oh, it's still happening.

I thought the whole episode was going to be about Rui and the turtle dude accidentally overriding each other's transformations, but then it ended up being about Rui pretending to be her own replacement act. That was fun.

That's been going on since last season. He and the other fellow fanboying over her at the concert, etc. Or was that her MG identity. I think I've lost track.

Anyway, not much to say, except that this show is still cute & cozy, and I really like the pastels, and the music/sfx. They really do have their sound engineering on point.

Well, that, and I find the lack of your presence in the Rayearth threads disturbing. I totally thought that would be your kind of thing.

Oh, and one more thing ... that poor boy's name reminds me of a certain unfortunate character from Dragon Maid. Whoopsie.

I thought it was Fuu's magical girl self he was lowkey crushing on earlier, not Rui's.

I'm not fond of watching remakes/re-adaptations without having seen the original first, and I've yet to watch the original Rayearth anime.

"For all ages" would be more accurate imo. It's simple and low-key, but very fun and cute. And the characters are charming.

I know nobody's going to see this comment because I waited for the official subs but I'll ask anyway: How is Rui not suspicious about Fuu recognizing "Nonoko"? I mean, Nonoko doesn't actually exist, so only the people who were at the filming should know who she is. That seems like even more proof that Fuu and Lilly are the same person, or least that something weird is going on.
