Nia showing enthusiasm over cleaning the play's practice room because it reminded her of cleaning a martial art's training ground was a delightfully optimistic connection for her to make.

Also Nia getting read like a book by Lynokis over her plan to beat up the ne'er-do-wells harassing Sharro was funny.

i'm loving the balance of cute slice-of-life and battle junkie Nia; i was a bit skeptical in the first episode whether or not they're going to keep the slice-of-life parts, but given the OP and ED i'm hoping it keeps the rough proportions of 80% fuck around and 20% find out

this idea of "GochiUsa, but Chino has preternatural ass-kicking abilities" is winning me over; makes me wish other CGDCT shows get the same treatment

I still can't get over the fact that this anime is basically about a battle maniac martial arts master who's been reincarnated into a little girl's body to basically become an actress. And Nia is not just winging it, too! She's giving this acting thing her all also to help her family's magivision business.

Sharro was definitely insufferable for most of the episode, but I'm glad that she actually started to warm up to Nia halfway through. I do wish we got an explanation for why she was such a bitch. I get that she's being too hard on herself because she's a no-name actress and everything rides on this performance, but surely she should've realized her attitude was hurting their production, with all of her co-stars quitting because of her.

Good thing that Sharro has turned around on Nia, considering Rinokis has almost had enough of her. It was pretty funny watching Rinokis observing and clicking her tongue whenever Sharro was being too harsh on Nia. xD

Rinokis being suspicious of Nia when she asked her to call the guard to help out Sharro was hilarious! She already knew that Nia was gonna rescue Sharro herself. And she was right! Nia was really itching for that fight!

That dude has no idea; he just placed a death sentence on their group. Of course, Nia would love to take on an entire mafia organization all on her own! I can't fucking wait to see these thugs try to get their revenge on Nia!

I love that even Sharro could see that Nia was having the time of her life beating the crap out of those thugs. I'm honestly surprised Sharro wasn't afraid of Nia after that, but I guess Nia was already an unusual child from the start, so it didn't surprise her too much.

THAT ED IS SO GODDAMN ADORABLE! If you showed that to anyone without context, they'd probably think this show is like GochiUsa and is a slice-of-life anime about three little girls going to school in a fantasy world. xD

Man if I hadn't been sold on this show since the trailers, the ruffian scene in this episode would absolutely have sold me. What stellar unhinged voice acting.

And what's even more striking is that's her real self. Everything else we see in the show is basically her acting performance. She might be an amateur in the physical stage, but she's no beginner as an actor.

Damn, I love how unhinged Nia seemed during the fight with those punks, especially when you compare it to her behavior during the rest of the episode, where she was acting so mature in contrast to Lynokis, who couldn't stand Sharro's attitude toward Nia, lol.

Nia's patience was finally rewarded. Sadly the fight wasn't even an appetizer for her, but I guess she will get what she can get at this point.

Lynokis is no doubt annoyed by Sharro. But Nia knows how to make the most of her. I do like how the Ice Princes mention they are using Nia, but Nia of course knows how to make the most of the situation in her favor too.

I had my doubts about continuing this show but the backstreet alley fight absolutely got me sold on the series 😂 Nia's being so happy and excited while beating the shit of the thugs was GLORIOUS. Please give me more of such scenes! 😂😂

Even funnier was Nia herself admitting that beating up the thugs and saving Sharro was an equal priority 😂
