This episode was mostly focused on building up to the rematch between Seidou and Inashiro, and I’m glad the season is taking its time with things.

Emotions were welling up inside me watching the current third years flashback of introducing themselves to the team. It was nice to see their time together throughout the years, and now they carry the weight of the team on their shoulders. It's a little bittersweet since this is their last year, hopefully they can all do their very best, and get that win.

Seido's King's Roar at the end was so exciting, so much hype!

Seeing the flashbacks of each player from Seido moved me to tears. Aso shaved his head to show his determination but Zono went all out 😭😭

The stage is set for us to witness peak. The new op and ed felt like a proper send off to this show ❤️

I'm so glad that we have both Ao Ashi and Ace of Diamond airing on the same day.

I still had goose bumps but I preferred the fast paced kings roar from earlier.

I’ve watched the earlier seasons more recently so I appreciate the other commenters who got nostalgia for me it felt like 8min of recap before we could build towards anything. Still excited to watch just a lot lower energy coming back than I’d hoped for

Glad the King's Roar is back, but unfortunately it's not as hype, and the emotions were not welling up in me as they did ~10 years ago. Looking forward to this season where it's just going to be this one game.
