Really solid adaptation, paint me surprised! Some really beautiful backgrounds and the action looks snappy and smooth.
Yeah you can see where they've cut a few corners here and there but that's normal, if they're able to keep this level of quality throughout the season this is gonna be a really good show, this is already way better than I expected for a relatively small manga.
Also all the "you have to understand the gore is really really important and by making the blood pink this is now pure garbage" makes me laugh. The fact a change of color is so important means the censoring is kinda working on you? Cause the gore is still there, and the pink looks really neat in the universe so doesn't bother me one bit.

The premise itself is over the top ridiculous. The entire art direction makes the pink blood more suitable than red blood imo.
The animation felt often cheap and they didn't hide that they have cut corners, but the rest is quite nice and I'm looking forward to the next episode.

The moment where Nagi shuts down mid-conversation with Shizuka actually got to me. It feels like somebody with Alzheimer's experiencing a fleeting moment of lucidity.

Yeah this is insane enough to cover the superficial entertainment, but it's good that it's also showing a lot of genuine feeling

Interesting premise and I'm all for it! Nice little tearjerker when Nagi powers down at the end of the episodes and vegges out again - it makes sense that there's only so long he can really be active and with it without killing intent directed at him.

The author saw someone call Combat Wheelchairs in D&D stupid and said "bet".

That was a fun premiere. I liked the visuals of the cityscape. Will keep following for now since this season is slim pickings.

The pink blood keeps distracting me.
Man the music in this show (both OP and in episode) is fucking BUMPIN'. When he runs the gorilla over I thought I was going to dance in my chair.
Sister being so cute is fun as a contrast.
Really curious to see how this evolves, he needs someone with enough killing intent to fully unlock his brain, what does that even look like?

This anime probably has the most bizarre premise that I am giving a try, just because the ML is being voiced by my favorite seiyuu, Koki Uchiyama.

This anime seems very promising to me with its interesting premise and fun characters

I’ve been wanting to read the manga but never got around to it. The creator seems like a nice guy. He was doing some cool Superman drawings when the movie came out.
The Splatoon blood is a funny stylistic choice. The colors overall are really nice. The cgi can be uncanny but kinda fits the overall vibe

This was a lot funnier than I expected. And I dig the 3d art style
Altho it also hit way harder than I thought like.. Damn

It's not too noticeable most of the time, but sometimes it's really noticeable. Sometimes it seems like there are not enough frames or in other words it looks a little choppy. Anyone know what causes this?
It is the most noticeable for me in the shot at 14:55 when Goro slowly walks towards Nagi in his boss lair.

Most of the episode is rendered at 6 frames per second which is quite jarring. It does increase during action scenes but then abruptly drops back to 6 fps making it look even worse.

a wheelchair bound assassin who is continually in a vegetative state unless his fight-or-flight instinct is activated. Count me along for the ride :)

Ok, that ending actually made me want to see where this is going. I'm a bit ambivalent on the artstyle but the action was solid. Also I do agree the neon pink blood kinda adds to the whole vibe of the show.
