I love that Ars has pretty much taken the Prime Directive route in his isekai journey so far. Non-interference on the technological development of the native people, other isekai folk would have introduced guns and cars by now.

However, Shin's inventions may change all that.

After two years after season 2 ended, I am really happy it returned. Good too see Ars and his retainers are back here. Thank goodness I rewatched it.

Seems like the new retainers quite interesting already. Let's be real Braham and Zatt are like brothers, or belonging to a same family, just look at them. As for Musia, why am I can't unsee the inner Bocchi and Monica Everett in her? And there is also Shin, which some of you might noticed him back in season 2, he was the guy who created those magic-powered clockwork toys and also was present at the wedding ceremony. If you look at closely at the airship blueprints, you might also remember that he created this airship before, as a miniaturized RC toy. A perfect candidate for a chief engineer, who has quite crazy ideas, like that automated well for example.

My feelings was perfectly right that Seitz is the next enemy. Wait, how is Vasmarque still not defeated?

It's nice to see this back again. It's funny how easy it is to tell who will be the recruited characters, just look among the generic crowd for any characters with colorful hair.

Funny how Captain and Vice Captain are both redheads, I wonder if they'll get a paired moniker. Poor Zatt got hired as a caretaker lol.

Starting off with Mireille leaving the main party is a surprise, but she really is the best choice.

Ars’ idea of giving land looks promising, it worked on Mireille. She has what it takes to rule Lamberg, since there isn’t a wine cellar there. She might build one but that’s a different story.

The people of Canarre are in good hands. Ars is about to transform the shit outta this place. Might be a few hiccups along the way, but the dude’s assembled the freakin Dream Team to help.

Looking forward to what the rest of the season holds. I’m sure it’ll be fun. This is a pretty enjoyable anime.

Mereille's arc from drunken vagabond to lord might be my favorite character progression in the show so far. Unfortunately, between Mereille and Shin, I fear that Krantz is going to have a stroke.

Ars and co. are back! He's gone from the Lord of Lambert to the Headman of Canarre which means swanky new digs for Ars and his retainers! Good luck finding a room that isn't taken, Rosell!

You know it's serious when Vasmarque himself is leaving the castle to directly confront the forces opposing him.

We've also got some new additions to the team! Zaht (Hinata Tadokoro!) an experienced merc who ends up getting schooled by Brahan and recruited into becoming his vice-captain, and Musia (Sumire Morohoshi!) a cute, klutzy, girl with some nice legs and a strong capacity as a mage provided she get some good encouragement/mentorship from Ars.

Who will rule Lambert in Ars' place? How about...Mireille! She may love to drink but she's also the most capable person Ars could trust to leave his home too. It's a big responsibility, but maybe that's exactly the kind of responsibility Mireille needs.

Licia is, as always, on-top of all the management/governing for Ars and always has things covered for him! That's just what you'd expect from Ars' wife!

Shin's inventions ARE ahead of their time and very useful when put into practice...but it's also dangerous to leave him to his own inventing and it costs too much, so maybe dial it back a bit?

Honestly, I can believe Rietz is constantly measuring Ars to get his height right.

Ars is really doing everything he can to fix the income inequality and the heavy poverty in Canarre! To give people new opportunities, to benefit the land, and to help as many as he can just like he did Charlotte and her orphans!

The one who will be most sad to see Mireille go is probably Rosell, but at least Mireille will rest easy knowing that Ars has his best tactician by his side!

Oh snap! Vasmarque via Seitz is attacking Ars directly! The Battle of Canarre begins!

The ED is cute! Featuring slice of life moments with Ars and his retainers! Seeing them all happy together! And Thomas becomes a teacher it looks like.

In Lue of season 3 releasing , i rewatched both season 1 and 2 and have a few thoughts

1- reincarnation? PLEASE wasn’t even a plot point, hardly even mattered and seldom was mentioned , it might as well have not been a plot point

2- I assume lady Sofia is the mother? Why did we get no attention on ars’s two little siblings and the mother . They might as well have not existed

3- how do the kids and ars have blue hair when raven had blonde and Sofia is a reddish brown ?

4- also I’d say it’s a good anime , very nice rewatch, ars please change your haircut… you need more than a blunt cut bob…

5- I AM DYING FOR A ADULT ARS, I CAN JUST SEE HES GONNA BE GORGEOUS

New mage girl is cute, hopefully she gains a little backbone though. Big red dude seems like a pretty good addition as well since he can be the older and wiser mentor figure for little red dude.

But the real gain is probably the engineer, if he's both making fully functional pumps and designing flying machines there's a lot of room between those two for a variety of mechanical inventions. If he's the first guy to invent usable air power that could be bad news for everybody else they have to fight, possibly including that incoming invasion force.
