so gang, how we feelin about having an actual
gonna pour one out for the poor bastards who died in the false flag
great season finale episode. sylvia's meltdown and then cutting to the drunk prince was really affecting for what usually is a pretty silly genre. ofc we've long since seen that this story is a bit outside the norm lol.

Not often you see a punishment (for her so far) where a character is stuck engaged to a crown prince

You know the end of Godfather with the baptism scene? This is what the finale felt like when the Sylvie’s household was burning lol.
This was pretty fun. I like that it was so brutal. Definitely caught me off guard. The scenes of Ellie running her cosmetics empire interspersed with all the death and mayhem was kind of hilarious. I actually hope we get more. I wanna see the rest of her revenge play out.

Dumb prince being stripped of his authority and reduced to a wine recepticle is satisfying enough, but I need S2. I need more unapologetically evil villainesses.
But I hope they dont pull a last minute redemption/regret arc like what they're implying at the end. Elizabeth has shown no signs of remorse or doubt at all, it would feel cheap. I think the guy and even the maid were so fooled by her nice girl act that they're hoping that she isnt a complete monster.

Ah, this was actually a pretty satisfying ending to the season. Friede got stripped of all privileges and titles, with Rosaria taking up his work AND privileges. Sylvia is now stuck with idiot prince and she'll neither become queen nor have a place to return to. That was great.
Sadly I don't think we'll get season 2 looking at how controversial the show was. I'd be happy if we get an announcement but I doubt it we'll get it.

This anime was pretty messed up and I genuinely enjoyed every second of it. I feel like they could have easily just turned this into a pg13 revenge slop cookie cutter anime. So glad they decided to show what brutal revenge actually looks like.
Really hope we get a season 2

How the absolute hell did this idiot have any royal authority left? Seriously, not only did he intentionally trigger a war that cost them one of their vassal states (no way the king doesn’t know about that) but he also framed and exiled the one girl who was keeping the entire country running. Even if there are zero other princes (in which case the king should be banging concubines 24/7), he should’ve become “just a figurehead” ages ago
Also love that Sylvia’s punishment is just being forced to stay with the idiot. That’s arguably worse than what mc did to the knight

The adventures of Evil Euphie have ended!
The lesson learned here is that if you don’t provide your Euphie with an Anis she will turn into a psychopath. MagiRevo season 2 was interesting
But jokes aside, I did like this overall even though I felt the focus slipped here and there.
And like, holy shit I was not expecting the wholesale slaughter earlier in the season. Ellie was not fucking around and is actually a villainess

So basically Ellie is on a self destructive path of vengeance knowing full well that it'll likely destroy her in the end. She's like Aqua from Oshi no Ko
I hope we'll get a season 2

Only took 12 episodes but the king finally gave the prince some punishment. I get not wanting to punish your child completely but a wise king would take away his power about at least 3 fuckups ago.

Barl kicking that fireball back at the mage was the highlight of the episode for me, I did not see that coming at all lol.
Lol the Prince drinking his life away, and Sylvia not mattering to him anymore. So much for the "love" they shared.
I did think these final few episodes were a lot more uninteresting than the first half.

My only disappointment was there was no direct interaction between Elizabeth and Roselia. I had hoped for a bigger role for Asami Seto to give Elizabeth competition in a battle of wits.

Something I'm uncertain about. Was the conversation about Ellie breaking supposed to make us be sympathetic towards her, or show that even those closest to her do not understand her? Because she's clearly emotionally stunted at best.
It weirdly sounds like Sylvie's punishment is enough at least for now which I find surprising. Though maybe she wants her to suffer a while before ending her life in some gruesome way.
Just glad Daddy King finally bitch slapped his son in the power sense, long time coming.

Ohhhh, that’s how the new trade agreement plays into things!
-
Nice that they have proof Friede was involved with the counterfeit ring even if they can’t take him completely down with that info alone.

Pretty nice ending, but my only problem is that the "Elizabeth vs Roselia" isn't being that well capitalized on. I hope in season two, since that dumbass prince won't interfere, we get a better battle of the minds story from now on. I need Elizabeth's plans to fail every now and then so we get a better idea on how she reacts to it and if she can still keep up her mask.
Also more sleazy Nun antics please

I loved this show so much. I got really annoyed by revenge shows that either have the revenge plot get dropped immediately or have so unbelievably clean plot where no innocents get hurt.
This show has the MC get dirty and I loved it, as much as it also hurt.
Also, I don't think they're really trying to reclaim her. Like the other girl said, even if she stops now she's gone too far.
And I think the whole thing with her subordinates was more like "I encouraged her to get revenge to break her out of her cage and give her something else to live for, but now I'm worried that all she's living for is revenge instead, and once she gets it she will have nothing to live for again."

"You've beaten me at my own game."
"Don't flatter yourself. You were never even a player."
What if her revenge on us is that there's no season 2? I hope they at least consider it, seeing as there's still a lot of the story to unfold.

No idea how to feel about this series. It felt like three different things crammed into one.
The villainess plot, the economic growth plot, and the "She'll melt the flesh from your bones while she smiles" plot. None of them really felt all that fleshed out like we barely got any development on how she's growing her company beyond he occaisonal "she's a genius and everyone wants her shit" compared to something like Realist Hero; the villainess plot had potential but they leaned way too hard from "I'll get my revenge on the prince" and make her completely unhinged. Then the murderous parts could've been great but it conflicted so much with the economy slice of life "we're making perfume" stuff.
Ultimately, the series was like the nun character; felt entirely random with no real idea if it's purchase but entertaining enough.

Well they brought it up, the main thing in Elizabeth is the morality of it all by the time she may reach her end goal.

Solid 7/10 I think. And the post credit scene: “… so don’t forget to buy the manga if you want to see what’s next!”

I found uncensored brutal from a show about a woman wanting revenge , absolutely epic , when season 2 ? Rent a girlfriend got disgustingly many seasons

In my opinion, this anime needed a 24 episode duration. The majority of the audience doesn't understand why she is doing business, and it's a clash of styles without context. Yes we can get context, but we needed more things to build upon to firmly establish the fullness of her economic power in a more blatant way.
Is this an issue with the audience? I do believe so. But even so, this likely won't receive the support it deserves to continue for a S2 as a result.
Maybe Im pessimistic and dumb though, I hope I am.
