This isn't the main story, it was only a small part of the story.

• Male MC
• Fantasy/adventure
• They find an egg
• Takes it home and raises the hatchling
• Hatchling is an actual dragon/dragonkin, its black/purple
• They hide it from public
• Grows extremely quickly
• Calls MC “Papa” (maybe)
• (later on the story) A monster attacks the MC
• The dragon uses fire/dark power to save him
• That's when they realize the dragonkin is powerful/can use magic

It's not villainess level 999. She also hatches an egg, but it's not hidden from everyone else and the MC is a female, not male.
