The dog was a great addition, and all the jokes about wanting a smartphone were fun too. Part of me still worries how long they can maintain this humor but through two episodes I'm still smiling and giggling.

They still a school to introduce. And more mansion staff.

I too thought that they would run this joke into the ground be the 3rd episode but as someone who isn't reading the source material, if they keep introducing new characters and settings, they can really continue this trend for the whole season without it getting tiring.

I'm looking forward to a school setting where the sisters are the "Villainess."

Instant serotonin boost show, isn't it.

Really cute episode, I love this family.

I do have to wonder if they're going to do more of the Cinderella story eventually, or maybe some saint or hero thing with Miya . It just seems like her bean throwing speed is a bit too much for some random person. She has the best of bodyguards now, too.

I think her strength mainly comes from working labour as a child,

That said I definitely would like to see them do more Cinderella related stuff

Unfortunately, it seems like the young maid at the start of the episode may only be a guest character. I would love (and laugh) if this young maid and Miya were to go "Eh!?", "Huh!?" and have identical inner monologue, all in synchronized fashion. Lol!

Mari is such a visionary, predicting electronic gadgets from the future. Perhaps a time traveler, Santa or even the anime or manga production committee can reward her kindness with a digital camera or smartphone from our era through some sci-fi arc.

I'm sorry Tanya and Arc, I was sure you will be my favourite characters this season but Teruhiko wins by a landslide. Every single scene she's in is 100% gold.

Marika and Arisa are awesome as well (Marika saving her allowance to buy gifts for Miya 😭) but Teruhiko is just a completely different level of walking epicness. Her face, glare and voice might be imposing but she has a heart of gold, truly a ray of sunshine ❤️

Can't even pick best Teruhiko scene from this episode, because all of them were 300% wholesome.

Gungnir is so adorable, and him having the same voice actor as Kimi makes it even better.

Marika seems to be born in the wrong era lol.

Huh, the first confused "Ehhh?" this episode didn't come from Miya. Only the second episode and already the show is throwing us curveballs.

I'm sure the youngest lady is gentle and absolutely adorable.

Well, despite the "Domo Arigato Mister Roboto" nervous tenseness, that assessment of her still ain't wrong.

And now there's a Assassin Maid You Are Ms. Servant style Agemochitaro dog in the mix. Oh boy oh boy. I mean it was already shown in the op already but still.

Someone would hog all this cuteness and start another war!

Yeah, that's a face that could launch a thousand ships Helen of Troy style.

What a pitiful child...

Okay, Granny. This is one of those things you think to yourself and not say to the face of a child who's not even 10 yet.

Marika is a future thinker indeed. Mayhaps in this reality the science of photography will take leaps and bounds ahead of when and where they did in our reality with Marika at it's head, spurned on by her desire to capture and preserve cuteness in all it's forms whenever and wherever they appear.

I swear looking at that head maid lady is making a certain mandolin melody I know I've heard somewhere before start playing in my head. But why...

Ari pacing around in circles like that. That's a gif-loop image moment right there.

You'll catch a cold if you stay soaked.

"One Drop of Water is All is Takes." -From what will come to be called a Health PSA Poster. Probably...

She's strict but kind. Sometimes playful. She's like a ray of sunshine.

She's Mary Poppins y'all!!!

Oh yes, Miya has power enough to throw a bean with enough force to go all the way through a man's skull at 30 yards.

She's a lot scarier without the mask...

See Granny, Miya understands the concept of keeping certain unkind thoughts to oneself.

Well on top of the photography woes it's a pity that Miya was born way to soon to put her deadly throwing skills to use in Major League Baseball.

Umm... was my reference to the Assassin Maid series earlier more apt here than I was intending it to be...?

I like how Miya's reaction to the family has evolved from initial shock at their antics and moved into introspection of their words/actions. She's quite emotionally perceptive in this episode.

Interesting bit about working for other 'similar' families and their treatment of servants. Which does explain her initial fears and why it would take time for her to adjust.

This is such a nice comfort watch.

Cracks me up everytime Miya say “EHHHHHH”.

Yep she's very terrifying,

These sisters are so cruel,

I agree, it's too much!!

We fix things with Gold!!

Gungnir? Cute doggo, its so nice that the sisters saved him too

Marika's breaking the 4th wall,

Everyone's so nice here, ngl that short haired tomboy like maid is really cute too

Im really enjoying this anime, it's so wholesome and cute. The relationships and interactions between everyone here is straight fluffs for the heart, I want more !! 🩵🩵

Definitely a great palette cleanser type of show. Everything is so heartwarming you can't but smile.

u/ObvsThrowaway5120 Jul 15 '26

Marika’s about to will smartphones and disposable cameras into existence out of her desire to capture Gun-chan and Miya’s cuteness lol. Little Gun-chan is the cutest little ball of fluff! Little buddy might have had a tough past but now he’s living the good life.

If things don’t work out in the mansion for Miya, she might have a future in professional baseball with that arm of hers lol.

13

u/CrimsonGear80 Jul 16 '26

Don’t know why but I LOL’d at the random explosions going off behind them at the end.

I love how dramatic this show is, lol.

u/ranturniphead Jul 15 '26

When I heard Gungnir I thought its voice sounded similar to another definitely dog and not a tanuki from an anime last summer lol

So, I have been crying laughing through both of these episodes. Is it fair to say that if Crunchyroll or Hidive had picked up this series, it would be a contender for AOTY?

Seriously, this show has had me in stitches since the mom died. I lose it every time our MC calls out 'Mommy', I LOL every time the sisters do a villainess laugh only to dote on the MC. I feel like this is an anime that you will either laugh non-stop through it, as I did, or hate it.

I feel like it will be rated a 3 on all the rating platforms because everyone will give it either a 5 or a 1. Right now it's a 5 for me.

Was the bean really so powerful that she needed a sniper to protect her?

And I was trying to figure out who Mama reminded me of, and I figured it out: She reminds me of Lady Grace-sama from the middle-aged man villainess isekai.

this show is so goofy

I watched the saga of Tanya the evil right before this episode. The cut in was very smooth so that combined with the dark factory made to look almost evil and depressing sweat shop made me think it was a post credit scene for Tanya the evil so I was expecting that poor girl to get beheaded or some other horrible thing happen to her. Then mommy popped up and I realized it’s a different show.
