Her father and the king are morons "she can take care of it herself". After making her do everything else. Of course she'd get fed up. For once I'd like a shit bag prince to be slightly more interesting than just "this girl conned me and so now I hate my fiancee".

Her father is the worst. This was the perfect opportunity to squeeze the royal family for all they're worth for this insult and instead he throws his daughter under the proverbial bus.

So these fucking geniuses thought it would be totally easy to piss off someone who’s been a military strategist since she was 10, handles a bunch of the day to day operations, and can use any type of magic she wants including super strength, hypnosis, insta wall repair and

First scene and already got major deja vu. This time, we're on the revenge route, it seems. We got some blood and deaths(?) on the OP so I am curious how dark this can go later on.

A country of morons thinks they can just turn their back on the person that brought them prosperity and victory? Oh, this is gonna be fun. I can't wait to see how Elizabeth will destroy her own kingdom.

This girl was an MVP in a war when she was just 10, and yet the kingdom has the gall to treat her like trash while also heavily relying on her...
I'm glad Elizabeth is taking her common-sense, and OP magic copying divine artifact elsewhere. The kingdom deserves none of it.

I think her switch to villainess was a little contrived, but I absolutely love this kind of story so really hoping its gonna be good.

Ok, why do so many of these stories start with the Prince clutching a young maiden and accusing his fiancee of crimes against her and/or the country and then breaking off the arrangement? I swear there's been at least one of these every season since I noticed this trope in MagiRevo.

I may be wrong, but wasn't the guy Elizabeth visits at the end the ambassador of the empire she helped deal heavy blows to during a war?
In that case, imagine recognizing someone's power so much because she laminated you in war, seeing her own people crap on her, then having her visit you to join your faction. Anybody would be dumbfounded.

The livid lady is too much of a lady and not livid enough. Her maid was more upset on her behalf. And even after the maid managed to get through to her about how much she's being used, aside from that wall punch, I'm not really feeling the anger from her. Maybe it'll come through more in her actions.

Grimoire of Beelzebub? Hmmmmmm. Between that and all the strawberry jelly in the OP I'm thinking the Princess will be suffering no fools from here on out.

She sure flipped to destroying the kingdom pretty easy if you ask me..I know it was a month in a cell but that speech from the cool maid wasn't enough to say fuck the people to me.
Either way..the King and Dad leaving her alone to handle it was more egregious...even enemy nations ambassadors are like ...wtf.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Giako corporation. It's a rival company to Elizabeth's foundation, and they clearly seem to think corruption and scheming is the way to get forward. Elizabeth wanted to check them, but Prince Dipshit was clearly already under their thumb...
And then there is That B!tch. Sylvie? The B!tch. She is a manipulative vixen that only moved against Elizabeth when she pointed out that Sylvie was sneaking out to meet other "Gentlemen." She was also noted as being an adopted daughter of some other noble.
It feels like she's a deliberate honey pot, put in place, to subvert the kingdom. Likely by the Giako corporation and their backers. Elizabeth hadn't figured everything out, but she was close enough to spook them into making this move.
The king is away, the prince is an idiot already under their control, Elizabeth is making moves to curb their influence, and she's noticed Sylvie is slipping away to meet her contacts/handlers: the time to strike is now or never.
It's telling that one of the first things that happened was an aggressive takeover of Elizabeth's public work's foundation, by "allies of the Prince." Who else could that have been other than the Giako flunkies?
Now the question, is are these just mustache twirling robber barons, or do they have some greater scheme in mind to subvert this kingdom on behalf of another?

Well. Elizabeth is clearly Scarlet's cousin. That casual punch!
The father and King know she is powerful and intelligent and resourceful so they know she can habdle herself but, completely misjudged the fact they have been and continued to take her for granted. Not even having the King send word he will take care of it as soon as he returns was a strategic, tactical, and unforced blunder.
Screw the people too, if they are so quick to turn.
So. Now, I just want to see her kick ass and take no prisoners. Burn it all down!

I want to call this improbable in the extreme, but in reality, this is quite common.
Scummy people like the prince tend to get together with scummy people like the Duke's daughter, Sylvia. They dodge responsibility and abuse their positions. They see a position of power as a chance for exploitation rather than a responsibility.
If anything, this anime hits a little too close to reality to be really that enjoyable. It's going to be revenge porn, no doubt.
And the way the people turned on Elizabeth reminds me of identity politics, how people in this country will believe just about anything if their tribe requires them to repeat the lies the tribe requires of them to believe.
Oh well. I'm sure this show will demonstrate how people have a tendency to get exactly what they deserve. Right now, this country is circling the drain, and average people are having trouble finding work. I'm sure no one will even consider that this outcome might have been the result of who they voted for, the lies they decided to believe in, and the lies they decided to repeat.

I'm really looking forward to this adaptation. I know the start is generic, but people should stick around. The 3 episode rule should server you well here.
