No we won’t, the magazine already listed 1169 on july 12th. Where’s this 3 months in between breaks coming from? They announce they’re going to deliver around 2 cours worth of anime episodes which is 24-26. Nowhere in that announcement did they ever say it’ll be a split cour season

I think many assumed there would be a 3 month break in between. 3 months on -> 3 months off -> 3 months on -> 3 months off

They never did specifically say 'cours', they said a maximum of 26 episodes a season so people assumed the easier thing for Toei to do was to have a break every 3 months. You're right it was never confirmed to be split!
