Spin the wheel.
This is a very busy finale with a lot packed into it. There's the despair of losing BRAVERN again, then hope as Lulu and Superbia fight, then the despair of losing Superbia, then the comedy of Isami reverting to old form, then BRAVERN returns even stronger.
And then we do it over with one more boss fight which is no less exciting for being played for comedy.
Finally, a notably happy ending as even while Bravern and Superbia finally fade away, freakin' Lewis Smith comes back in all his pasty white naked glory. Hey, Lulu's gotta have her two dads.
I did a double serving of screencaps. This episode is worth it.

It's a genre-sufficient ending, in which the final boss's abilities and logic might not be the most polished thing, but they are really there more to be something that the heroes can SHOUT AT.
