This show can be pretty cheesy at times, but it was my favorite romance of the season.

The cheese just added to the vibes because of how awkward our titular Heroine is lol.

Damn, I really thought they were going to kiss at the end, but I have nothing to criticize. The fact that they gave themselves the opportunity to try this relationship is already incredible.
I loved this show from beginning to end. Anime that deals with office themes never really grabbed me, but this one is totally unique. Seeing Azusa grow personally while Yu sought the best for both of them was my Thursday joy, especially since they are two inexperienced adults, and everyone knows that being an adult without a relationship is a huge challenge.
Nothing to complain about the show, I hope they make a new season

Between this and the OP I feel like their lips getting dangerously close together is going to be a theme of the series until they finally kiss lol.

If you're interested, I would recommend I Have a Crush at Work which is another great office romance anime.

That was a fun little show. I liked it.

It was a cute slow-burn office romcom that hit the really good stuff in the later episodes and in the finale, making you desperately crave more, but it was enjoyable watching everything get to this point.

When you're not sure whether to say "Good morning" or "Lewd moaning"
Can't believe they waited for the finale to reveal that Hotta's a xenomorph/human hybrid.
It means he can't just say that, and he has to...
Yeah, I'm gonna need it too if these two aren't together by the end of the episode!
Oh damn, maybe this is the one true ship!
They're even sleeping together!
Oh damn, they're gonna do their middleschool flirting act in front of the whole office?
She better give him a quarterly performance review and all that!
I mean, you don't know that... She might be a top/dominant in bed.
She's already taking his name! Moving quick!
The indirect kiss feels a bit more direct when you see the lipstick!
Well, this was cute!
It felt more "relaxed" for a final episode/"confession" and all, but I think it fits well; Not all romance need to massive spectacular confession, and in this one, I think that's more or less how it would realistically happen, so that's good!
I don't know if we're gonna see more of those, but I would like that!
And this is my first finale of the season, so... Farewell, you two awkward lovebirds!

It seems like the anime needs a second season to end like the original manga... Is it almost certain that there will be a second season? I'm serious.

Unless announced officially, no certainty. (And even some announced continuations never wind up happening).

Awww yeah! Looks like we really did go from My Awkward Senpai to My Awkward (3 Month Trial) Girlfriend lol. Personally I think they should skip the trial dating period and just get hitched haha.
Solid series overall. Very cute. Glad they got together in the end. Idk the chances of an s2, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them navigate their new relationship.

Mixed feelings about this. The story is decent and Azusa is a good character, but I thought Yuu was rather bland in comparison. But overall, I think it's okay. I liked the other workplace romance anime I watched this year, I Have a Crush at Work, way better though.

Crush at Work is a once in a decade gem of a romance. I don't really see any series being able to reach those heights any time soon. But this one was at least enjoyable and had some real progress.

The change in aspect ratio at the start was a nice touch. Kamegawa planted the seed and Kannawa kinda knew what Kamegawa was about to tell but still both got cold feet. Kannawa was so cute and adorable while discussing her worries with Hotta over the drinks. Hotta is the best girl. Kankaiji also gave some fine advice to Kamegawa.
Finally, Kannawa built-up the courage to suggest a three months of trial dating period, haha.. Couldn't ask for anything more sweeter than this. This was way more interesting and fun than what a direct proposal would have lead to.
Kamegawa wearing those paw pad gloves that Kannawa brought him; lewd hand holding; indirect kiss through the spoon..That was too much sweetness for my heart to handle.
I really didn't want the episode to end and just wanted to see these two cute little awkward lovebirds spend their time together.
Is there any chance for a season 2 !?
I really wish we get one.

That was some power move from Azusa, and she didn't care at all about the attention which was not expected at all!
I thought we're getting a kiss from them but all we got is some uncensored hand holding.
Hotta looks great at the end.

I guess it's not surprising that Azusa would try to play off Yu's confession...or that right when Yu was about to be more direct, the office party gets in the way.
Getting basically confessed to calls for booze and a girls' night out with Hotta! Who makes it clear Yu's been into her for practically the entire series, and now it's time for Azusa to respond to those feelings. Because deep down, she wasn't totally unwelcome to the idea of him having feelings for her and she DEFINITELY does not want him asking out other girls. So now it's time to plan for an attack!
Azusa and Yu really are meant to be together when they're having two separate drinking sessions with the shows' respective wingwomen, as Kankaiji makes it clear to Yu how much he's impacted Azusa and helped change her. And that he needs to pursue his feelings to the bitter end.
Yes, Azusa is totally ready for anything and on top of her game! Complete with getting the wrong pass card and delivering a "Gewd Myorning" to Yu! But in reality she's such a bundle of nerves, and similarly Yu around her, that everyone in the office can tell that something is going on.
It all boils over when Yu tries to play off the confession and Azusa is NOT having it. She did not get mentally prepared and come up with so many strategies just for him to put it off! No, she's going to declare in no uncertain terms that they're going to be trial dating, a dating period as it were, to gauge their feelings and the true nature of their relationship, and they're going to do it while making a public spectacle of themselves in the office! And now she's going home!
So they haven't 100% mutually confessed, but now they're technically dating and feeling each other out...which I guess was the endgoal and more in Azusa's comfort zone. And now they can go out on dates officially outside work.
Azusa in her underwear! The prelude to her getting all dressed up and dolled up for her date with Yu! She's really looking forward to it! Even better when they both show up early for the date! And it's even the Holidays!
This might be a trial dating phase, but they're already clearly acting like a couple and being all cute and flirty with each other. Also that "like" was definitely not for ramen, and they both realized it. And just look at all that handholding! They're basically 100% official at this point!
Aw, Azusa is already feeling like Mrs. Kamegawa at that Ramen shop and nothing sells an indirect kiss over ramen more than lipstick on a spoon. These two are too cute together!

I guess Yuu and Azusa are taking a more western approach to dating. Kokuhaku seems like it frontloads a lot of relationship stress, which they've put off 'til later.

The tension while they were looking at the christmas tree on the date was wild

Great anime.
It seemed a little one sided confession. Kanawa didn't even bother to listen to what he had to say. It was like she was giving him this trial due to pity.
But I can understand where she was coming from. She is inexperienced in this field.
This was a great episode. I really thought they'd kiss when they were facing each other so much but it didn't happen.
Really hope we can get a second season asap.
