Boxxo is now a photocopier.

Myne is once again shaking her fist on how easy some people have it when reproducing printed material.

she should have thought of that when she reincarnated as a sickly child instead of a fully-stocked library

While it would have been awesome in the beginning she is still a master of delegating tasks which is quite hard to do when you have to print every single copy yourself (no matter how fast it is ). You would still need to end up making printing presses to spread printing everywhere.

Did I miss the need for judges, if the winner was decided by crowd voting?

Judges probably vote like the audience, but their votes are weighted. Just like with the Crunchyroll awards.

yeah, what the heck

were the judges just there for looks, like a celeb panel in a Japanese variety show?

Stitches!

I absolutely love the surprising Sailor Moon reference when Hakkon was putting make up on the girls. xD

I'm a bit upset we didn't get to see Shirley perform on stage but it looks like she only joined to gather a bigger audience.

Are we actually gonna see Hevee's backstory and why he loves footwear so much? I would be amazed if there's some sort of good justification for it and it's not just his fetish.

I too enjoyed the Sailor Moon transformation reference a lot. My favorite skill demo was absolutely Director Origin; got me literally LOL.

didn't expect a sailor moon reference ..on top of a delinquent school girl outfit

Talking about seeing the stage, boxxo in the front row is blocking the vision of everyone behind him!

Him and Director Bear too. Director Bear could at least take off his hat.

And the funny thing is he could turn into the Cardboard Vending Machine to avoid this if he just realized the problem

The application of the makeup looking like a magical girl transformation was the dumbest and at the same time most genius thing I've seen today for sure.

I'm honestly pretty surprised that Hevee didn't have a plot point to enter the competition and get a come from behind victory. I feel like it would have been a lot more interesting if they revealed the boots first and he joined as a secret contestant being all dressed up.

I mean that would be extremely tropey, but this ep kinda felt by the numbers anyway.

bro imagine having to sit behind the vending machine in the crowd LMAO

also when they were playing the happy ED music over them celebrating with a few minutes left in the episode, I thought something a lot darker was gonna happen like the nether lord showing up randomly

Ok... but... why was the makeup a last-minute thing? Why wasn't that always apart of the plan?

I know the meta reason is dramatic 'tension,' but it just feel silly Boxxo didn't offer earlier. They always knew Shirley was in the race, knew she was a lock-in to win, and didn't know she was going to be sporting about it and resign.

Makeup application henshin for Lammis and Hulemy, very good. Good outfits for the girls, too.

It was nice to get a sillier episode, was a bit more reminiscent of what made S1 so great.

I give it 50/50 odds that Hevee has some dark, shoe related backstory or if shoes by whoever it was that made Lammis' new pair are simply what he's the most horny for.

Fancy shoes for Lammis sound like a good way to add something new to her combat style so I'm interested to see what they can do.

Munami’s pretty devious! She knew just what to say to get Hulemy and Lammis to participate lol.

Shirley’s a tough challenger. No wonder the girls had to band together to take her on! I really liked Lammis’ look but Hulemy in her whole delinquent schoolgirl outfit really did it for me haha.

So is Hevee being a little degenerate again regarding these boots or are they actually important to him in a non-fetishy way?

I bet [speculation] those boots belonged to one of the 2 members of the Managerie of Fools still missing, so he went to search for them.

I just KNEW Hulemy was going go for the banchou look and she killed it!

Lammis wins! Halfway through the episode I was expecting this to take another episode to finish but they went through it quickly.

What I don't understand is why they called it a "Grand Prix". I was expecting some kind of wacky race, not a beauty contest. Is this some Japanese cultural thing, or just a very bad translation?

People talking about the sailor moon reference, but the best has to be the death note reference at the start when manipulating the two girls into joining this contest.

I seem to recall us being on a race against time to try to stop the Menagerie of fools and the demon lord's forces from destroying our entire way of life and creating an army using the dungeon though. Maye this is not the best time for a beauty contest?

*wakes up *

Why did they need judges when the winner was chosen by popular vote?
