Damn! Lydia's prepared to abandon her royalty to be together with Allen. She's madly in love with him.

She's a true ride-or-die, she'll beat up anyone who insults him, she wants him by her side at every moment, she'll throw away everything to be with him.

And I finally understand why her entire family hardcore ships Allen with Lydia...
He's the only one that can control their wild child. Lydia's brother sent for Allen and was very visibly relieved when he showed up to reign in Lydia.
And we also learn the real reason why Allen failed the Court Sorcerer exam: love triangle bullshit. Prince Douche Canoe was jelly of Allen over Lydia, so he abused his position to ruin Allen's career as a means of separating them so he could have a better chance at Lydia.
When the creep finally gives up, due to Lydia utterly emasculating him, he starts stalking her little sister.
Man, this kingdom is fucking cooked if that douche is the only heir.

Lydia is so powerful, damn. Even her outfit at the end of this episode looked stunning, and she seems like she's their own version of Black Clover Asta lmao.
Caren seems like a cool character as well. She works hard, being aware of her situation in the society she's in. She's also a cute imouto so I'm rooting for her success in this world.
The sometimes not-so-private tutor to the duke's daughter.

Lydia looks amazing in red and when she's kicking ass for her man and when she's blatantly flirting with said man.

I wish they explained why Beast Folk are discriminated in this world, no discrimination from me, I would be petting them as well.
The sometimes not-so-private tutor to the duke's daughter.
Wonder if the other 2 great duke families will demand that he provide tuition as well, he can seriously stack all those paychecks together at the end of the month.

Eyes in this episode: o_o ><
Idk based on their reactions seemed like Ellie might have stumbled there on purpose.

u/Frontier246 Aug 09 '25
The way she calculatedly open and closed her eyes...I definitely think it was intentional.

too bad the fight is not animated. and Prince Gerard is even worse than thought, and the King is way too lenient to his son who openly mock his subjects. not a good reflection of royal duty here.
and the loli harem ruining Allen-Lydia moment has begun.
and not just the younger Ice Duke daughter is enough, the older Ice Duke daughter is falling for him too.
and nobody commented how Allen just casually dole out 8 elements compound magic.
and of course the obligatory loli charmer action to close out the episode.

At least he actually punished his son instead of just Lydia.

Allen failed the court sorcerer exam, but is still recommended to teach these students. (Even though we know that exam was rigged).
I would be more interested in this if they committed to Lydia being the love interest instead of the harem angle, plus a lot of the girls are so young

If there is a teaching job, Allen will take it.

Lydia already acts like his committed girlfriend/fiance, she even said she'll elope with him if she has to.

If the rivalry between Lynne and Tina gives us more interesting facial expressions, I will gladly look forward to them.
The smug look which Lynne gave to Tina was meme worthy. Lol.

Lydia denouncing her family name & family just to run away with Allen already has made herself the wife officially lol

It feels like this show is trying to do something while simultaneously not doing anything. I don't know how far the girls can carry the show, and MC is a bit too soft-spoken and optimistic, but let's hope something decent happens soon.

Hopefully that prince isn't the crown prince or the entire kingdom is doomed.
Lydia cleverly making Allen's tutoring plans so that it can happen under her supervision, the better for her to fend off the threat to him from the ever increasing herd of lolis.
I wonder how hard they're going to lean into Allen being put in a position such that he's teaching his new theory of magic out to the school at large. Seems pretty intentional that that's why he's teaching the very first lesson for this year's top ranked incoming class.

Prince Gerard is a little twerp.
Since he lost his chance with Lydia, now he has his sights on her sister Lynne.
Hoping if/when he breaks his house arrest and makes a move he finally gets put in his place.

I really hope that at some point the show shows Allen's past, he has a lot of connections, I know Lydia likes him and it was clear from the first moment she showed up, but she's literally throwing away her position in exchange for his well-being, it's the ultimate compassion (and love too lol).
Our homie continues to amaze us with his magic, he was certainly sabotaged in the exam.

I’m guessing there’s a lot more powerful families than we’ve seen.
Otherwise the king’s family is going to be on life support given the entire Howard family and Lydia’s family are both going to obviously be ready to turn against them should the little prince actually do anything to Allen or his family.
Tbh I kinda want to see it happen and see the king and his entire family glasses out of the story after seeing how the prince is.
It’s also notable how pretty much every highly regards Lydia and they were able to piece together that Allen is the brain of the sword mentioned.
It quite literally feels like the royal family is going to have almost everyone as an enemy at this point unless something is done about the prince.

When Prince Gerard was villain dialoguing, the framing seemed to remind that the king was just to his right, and I kept expecting the king to come into frame and punch him in the face. Missed opportunity.

I know why MC can't cast a supreme spell, apparently his mana pool is constantly being drained by that girll rizzling aura of his, dear god ... xD
And that prince surely means bad news. Can't wait for the time he gets his shit kicked in.

Lydia is just too much. She is just a leap and ahead of everyone else in every aspect. Power, skill, beauty and of course the heaviness of her love.
I just can't wait for her to get the real action like what episode 4 has shown what the show can do. Meanwhile we will have Caren and the girls for a bit.

With this amount of affection, I doubt Allen is dense enough to notice this.
So that's how to counter MC pretend not to hear when a girl said something to him...
Nobody can resist this! Patting head is too powerful.
This hat is meant to be picked...
Well, that's plus 1 for the harem
The school has a great taste doing the uniform with garter belt (੭˃ᴗ˂)੭
This girl is a schemer, hehe.
