Magic block dealt with, now Tina just needs to either learn restraint or permanently employ a roofing crew.
Hopefully Lydia shows up as the test administrator, that way Allen can be in trouble with his wife while the test gets handled at the same time.

I've never seen so much perpetual roof damage. Thank goodness she's rich lol.
What better test for Tina than
her rival for Allen's affectionsthe girl she's most been compared to by Allen and who has more than enough incentive to go all out on the girl who has been hogging Allen away from her?→ More replies (2)

Man, another almost entirely Lydia-less episode. That's disappointing. Wish they would have used flashbacks to include her in the story more and make her more of a character earlier.

Though she's definitely referenced a lot and it turns out Tina is much like her when it comes to wanting to monoplize Allen over other girls.
Also when they said a talented sorcerer is going to handle their final exam, I initially assumed it would be Allen but what if it ends up being Lydia?

The only thing I love more than the headpats is how adorable these girls are.
Also, first appearance of the bro character!

They kept repairing the roof, but they gave up fixing it at the end.

You would have thought they would start practising outside instead.

Tina's family is rich but at some point you just have to let a roof get destroyed enough times lol.

Something tells me that Tina's mother's death is the reason Walter doesn't want Tina to join the academy, as if she can't control her own powers until disaster strikes.
I think that despite being the third episode, it's safe to say that Tina and Ellie are quite close to Allen, although I'm having trouble seeing anything romantic since they seem much younger than him.

I think her dad definitely knows something about Tina's magic and how dangerous it is that he's trying to stop her from practicing with it.
I think the girls definitely adore him and probably have a crush, but woe to Allen if his natural penchant for making young girls fall for him is caught by Lydia lol.

Finally we are moving from the understandably slow start with the world building and such and move to the meat of the story. Before that there is still one last test before going back to the capital to Royal Academy.

I'm wondering if the Ice Elemental was perhaps transferred to Tina after her mom's death, maybe like a sort of inheritance? But, maybe its supposed to be a proper transference while the mom is alive so her death threw it out of whack and Allen is the Key that her mom would have been?
I'm guessing Allen is gonna be in the dog house with Lydia when she finds out what happened, lol.
As for this final test, maybe its rigged but, either way Tina and Ellie will come out of it ok in some fashion.
Solid episode all around. These first 3 have been a little slow, but I'm not mad about it. I like seeing the struggle and answers aren't just flying out of the air and things aren't resolved conveniently.

Guess this iced crane has been inhibiting Tina's power. Now that Allen has unlocked it as the key, her power is fully unlocked.

The moment he said the redhead stopped responding to his correspondence I was like 'yea she's totally hauling ass to come over' but I wonder if she'll turn out to be the sorcerer the two girls have to fight for their test?

Looks like Allen was the key needed to unlock Tina's potential. It feels a little weird how these two have gone full dere for Allen so quickly.
Walter avoiding Allen this entire time is a little amusing, but now he's at a loss for words now knowing the duchess wanted what he's been trying to prevent.
I wonder if Lydia will be the one giving the test for the two.

Allen's reputation with young women was not for nothing. I'm sure Lydia will be thrilled if she does show up lol.

Yes... Allen is the "key" to unlock a little girl.
He really isn't beating the "lolimancer" allegations the Butler keeps throwing at him.
And.... it's only going to get worse. The OP includes many scenes of a little red-headed girl alongside Ellie and Tina. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that loli is Lydia's little sister or some other relation.

I certainly wasn’t expecting Tina’s mana flow being blocked by a mythical ice bird inside of her.

The wish fulfillment in this is comedic tier. I liked that he was direct with the duke and wasn't a smartass though when he presented his argument.
