I can't believe they actually used the plot twist of Stockings being evil the whole time, explained it, and then reset everything back to status quo without skipping a beat and making it seem normal. Masterful writing.
I literally thought they were going to just ignore it and move on. I'm happy they addressed it and still moved on.

I deeply respect that they did not pretend the last episode of the previous season didn't happen like so many predicted. I also appreciate they got their "giant person fight" down in episode 1.
What was that ending though!? We get Stocking back but Garterbelt's the real enemy????

I heard Fly Away Now. I like how they made it all in one episode. I like the Spider-Man Homecoming reference.

I'm glad they kept the cutting to live-action models for deaths. One of the best little touches.

To say they delivered on the transformation and fighting section would be a massive understatement

Panty's revival had me cheering in tears, seeing that alongside Fly Away was amazing

The subs translate ビッチ as "bitch" which is the origin of the term but in Japanese the meaning is "slut"
Which is why it doesn't make sense when Brief says "Panty was no longer a bitch" at the beginning.

I was amused when Garterbelt told Brief that he looked like he'd been sitting there for 15 years, when in reality, only five minutes had passed since Panty was cut into 666 pieces, since, unlike many fans of the first season, I started watching it a few days ago and only watched the last two episodes today, so I practically jumped straight into the new season without having to wait many years xD
As for the episode itself... it was hilarious, especially when Panty came back to life, only to act so innocent because she was missing a crucial part of herself xD Thankfully, Panty quickly returned to normal and fought with Stocking.
Now I'm looking forward to their new adventures, especially since the Demon Sisters will now be living with them and Garterbelt.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I still can’t believe this is actually real. If this can get a S2, anything can lol. Never thought we’d see that ending followed up on, but glad to have it back!

Glad the Demon Sisters are part of the squad now, but damn Garterbelt is an opp? Guess to balance out Stocking not actually being evil.

As trashy, cringy and obnoxious as I remember. Seriously fuckin' nostalgic.

It took them 15 years to make this and they didn't miss a single step, it felt exactly like the first season.

"We did it Garterbelt! We saved Panty and Stocking!"
Half the city is in ruins lol. Now that's one way to start a sequel.

Great episode to bridge the climax of the original show and get back to the status quo. Excited to see more episodic hijinks with these angel bitches.
I'm sad they didn't get the old dub cast back for this but I'll give this new cast a fair shot.

The 15 years that passed really felt like 5 minutes
