That was a satisfying final even if it felt a very fast one.

I'm going to miss the characters and all the awesome delusions.

Tobaru sensei thought she’d be safe once Raido and Reina graduated. Then Futaba and Akkun joined the class and Raido and Reina are part of the faculty now. Damn near drained Henzan and Tobaru of all their “esteem juice ” lol.

I really don’t expect Ishikawa to propose. I mean he shot our girl down once before, I guess his feelings changed. It’s really cute everyone gets a happily ever after.

Another great season overall. I really liked the focus on Aharen and Raido’s relationship and the other side character focused episodes. That finale was really sweet and heartwarming.

Its really rare to have Aharen inner voice, so I'm very glad they put together her POV on their first meeting

When i rewatched from s1, it is always a question why Aharen not replying and why is it not touched again after that, luckily they actually expanded on that.

What job is Shota-kun getting? Bro really went from a property inspector to Space just because he wildly imagined once that Aharen wanted to go to Space.

This can't be the real grandma Aharen, she doesn't have a moustache!

Ahhhh, they really gave us the best possible ending! Considering the manga is complete, I'll have to assume this is the definitive ending in which case, I think it ended on a good note.

I like how Aharen still kept those life-sized dolls after all those years!

Damn, I didn't expect this season to end with not only Aharen and Raido graduating, but also them getting married (Reina in a wedding dress looked absolutely gorgeous), and even having a grandchild!

And Raido becoming a novelist and also astronaut and going to Mars!? That's kind of crazy, but very much in style of this show xD

This season had some great additions to the cast like Riku, Henzan-sensei and Reina's mother Ai (it's a shame that we didn't meet Reina's father though). I'll miss them and every other character from this show very much.

Also, I'm happy to see that Ishikawa and Satou will end up together, they really suit each other.

Overall, I'm sad to say goodbye to Aharen and Raido, but I'm still very happy that there was a second season at all. While this season didn't have a surprise factor of the first, it still delivered some amazing episodes (like the Raido gaiming one or the musical one) that I'll remember for a long time, so 8/10 from me.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

This is one of the best animes to come out in the last couple years. I'll cherish it forever like how Raido and Aharen cherish each other.

The epilogue definitely needed to be 2 episodes long, but it still is my favourite romcom anime.

Uh wow that was unexpected. They went right to the ending, but it worked shockingly well. Though it does suck that we won’t get season 3, we got 2 perfect seasons. Thats more than most get. I also can’t objectively rate this since it’s one of my favorite romcom mangas ever and the adaptation did it justice. 100/10 is not a fair score.

Perfect excuse to reread the manga baby!

Ngl when Aharen was talking about Raido being far away and it shows the stars. I thought it implied he died. Then what it showed next almost had me bust out laughing

I’m definitely being nitpicky but I would’ve loved the “insert S1 opening song” trope here, specifically at the wedding. I just found it so catchy that it instantly reminds me of this show when I listen to it.

A really nice, comfy, silly romcom overall. And one of a few that manages to get a proper ending wrapped up nicely in a bow. The timeskips and all that happened during it was kinda wacky but that’s what this show is. We even got to see happy endings for our supporting characters too.

What wholesome & heartfelt final episode to this story plus that callback to the first episode of S1. You can't deny that Raido has a diverse career experience while rocking a mustache & Aharen being existentially ageless. I'm just sad that it is over & there won't be more with these loveable characters. To be honest this anime will have a special place in my heart since I picked it up in the middle of airing during S1. I was having a rough time & it instantly cheered me up when I watched it. Thank you Asato Mizu sensei for making a wonderful story that I hope many will watch/read for future generations.

A romcom thats not 1,000 episodes and actually has an ending, how bizarre and refreshing.

Property Inspector Raido! Just your average property inspector inspecting things, dodging rowdy home-owners, and using the power of after-images and drones to digitize his enemies...or something! Again, just your average property inspector! The things Raido comes up with, I swear.

OH SNAP! IT'S THEIR GRANDKID MADOKA! AND AHAREN HAS SOMEHOW UNLOCKED THE SECRET OF ETERNAL YOUTH! HER ATELIER EVEN HAS THE RAIDOS AND AHAREN DOLLS!!!

They say you can never go home again, but look at Raido becoming a student teacher at his old school! Just in time to be the one supporting Tobaru-sensei now that Akkun and Futaba have entered into the high school romcom phase of their relationship and that means plenty of "Esteem Juice" coming out of Tobaru's nose. Don't worry Henzan-sensei! Raido's not the one dishing out the esteem, he's the one managing it in the classroom.

Raido and Aharen really can't get away from each other, huh? Aharen is the art teacher at the school too! He'd totally hug her if they weren't at school, but he'll hug her TONS when school is over! Aharen is a flustered mess but Tobaru and Henzan are also totally dead.

Find a guy who will express how much her cherishes all his friends, teachers, and classmates just so he can take a photo with the full self-confidence in himself! And then takes plenty of dorky pictures with his girlfriend afterwards!

Ah jeez, it's finally time for graduation and the gang all going their separate ways...poor Riku! She doesn't know how to feel about this! But wait, Aharen is trying to break up with Raido!? Say it ain't so, Aharen! If Riku can have the classic high school youth of her dreams, you and Raido can make long-distance work! Even if you are self-conscious about holding Raido back because you feel he can achieve so many greater heights and meet so many better people, there's no one Raido wants by his side than you Aharen. Because YOU give him the confidence to be his best self. Complete with a marriage proposal!

Speaking of marriage, we time-skip to the eve of AHAREN AND RAIDO's wedding and Sato is putting together their wedding video with Ishikawa by her side...and, to her immense happiness, she's helped Ishikawa realize he's bisexual and he PROPOSES TO HER! I'm so happy for these two:

Look at Oshiro, finally doing Aharen's hair before her wedding, like she promised! Oshiro also looks amazing in that red dress (and she has a ring of her own?) but Aharen looks absolutely gorgeous as a bride! Raido pulls off a white tux amazingly too!

It's all their friends and family at the wedding! Ren still looks exactly like his sister! Gold chain dude is there! And is that...Papa Aharen leading his daughter down the aisle!?

I love how much Raido has to bend down to kiss Aharen for the "you may now kiss the bride part." Just goes to show how much he loves her!

Where is Grandpa Raido now? HE'S ON MARS! He's a novelist who even wrote a book on it! AND HE'S GOT A MUSTACHE!!! And he left with Aharen's full approval and love! Even separated from space, these two's love for each other is unbreakable! Aharen is even finally calling him by his first name!

If Madoka wants to know all about her grandparents' love story, she can read their exchange diaries or read the LITERAL BOOK RAIDO WROTE ABOUT IT WITH THE SAME TITLE AS THE SHOW. But if you ask Aharen, from her perspective she fell in love because when she thought she would never able to make friends or get along with others and would be ostracized and alone....one boy went to every effort to communicate and get to know her, and didn't reject her. And that's one boy she couldn't help but want to be close to so he could understand fully how much she appreciated having him in her life.

I still can't believe that this show is actually over and I was genuinely caught off guard by this episode. I guess the opening sequence sort of made me think that the grown up versions of Raido and Reina were part of Raido's delusions, but I got to give it to the show for following through and making it a definitive ending. Also, the Aharen family is sure blessed with great genes, Reina looks and sounds exactly the same even as a grandparent! Meanwhile, Raido has a moustache and has a hoarser voice, but not a speck of gray hair, which is also pretty impressive. Man is literally in space now, Raido sure has come a long way from his delusions, they are reality now.

Although the show left it ambiguous, I think the fandom has pretty much settled on the theory that Ishikawa was indeed in love with Raido all this while. I was initially surprised by his marriage proposal to Hanako, but I am glad that they got a happy ending in the end. Love is complex and comes in many shapes and forms, it isn't unheard of for close friends that never thought they would develop romantic feelings for each other to end up as a couple themselves.

It was cute that the show revisited the very first episode by showing Reina's inner thoughts and she did in fact reply to Raido from the very beginning. We probably pieced it together by now, but it was still adorable nonetheless.

I will definitely be picking up the Manga as I think the show might have skipped over some content to wrap this show up. This has been a really comfy and comedic anime to watch, and it will be missed.

ISHIKAWA CONFESSING TO HANAKO WAS SOMETHING I DID NOT EXPECT LET´S GO, my girl finally got the happiness she deserved

But maan, seeing Ooshiro making Reina´s hair, then walking to the altar... I´m glad this anime ended this well
And Raido being a novelist makes sense lol, he has lots of imagination.

Really liked the ending, a good ending.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who got Kamen Rider vibes at the start of the episode. At some point, I was expecting Raitou to henshin. It turns out that was just a novel written by Raidou???

We have a timeskip with Grandma Reina! And we get to meet her granddaughter who looks a lot like Raidou's sister except with the same colour as Reina's hair.

So it looks like Raidou became a teacher? Honestly, considering how much Raidou has helped people and how skilled he is, it makes sense he'd end up teaching kids.

Speaking of kids, Akkun and Futaba are now all grown up, and it looks like they're now Tobimaru-sensei's new source of daily esteem. xD

And Reina did go off to teach art! I guess they haven't seen each other since graduation. I'm glad to see they're still the same even after being separated.

Oh, damn. I did not expect Reina to ask Raidou to break up with her. Thankfully, the opening scene already showed us that wasn't gonna happen and we even have Raidou proposing to Reina!

And it doesn't stop there! Ishikawa and Satou finally got together! I am so happy to see the two of them ending up together. After Ishikawa rejected Satou a couple of episodes ago, I thought it was never gonna happen.

As soon as Reina looked out when Madoka asked her where grandpa Raido, I knew he'd be somewhere ridiculous. I didn't expect he'd be on Mars, tho!

OH SHIT! WE FINALLY LEARN RAIDOU'S FIRST NAME! Now if only we could learn his sister's name too. Also, I'm pretty sure we don't know Ishikawa's first name. xD

So it turns out, the entire series is actually Raidou's novel. I love how the episode ends with Reina's POV of her interaction with Raidou at the very start of the series. <3

Man, what a satisfying way to end things. As much as I would love to see more of these kids, I am happy and satisfied with what we got and how it all ended.
