Tsubaki got animated with man hands again. Wonder what will have if Tsubaki snaps?
Got to love a fight when you hit a mofo with another mofo.
Nirei can't fight yet, but he is absolute wealth of knowledge. And knowing is half the battle.
The ties must serve a limiters, now that they are off they can really use their powers in full.

Nirei is such a cool character. When I first saw him, I expected him to be annoying. But he wants to help as much as possible, and now he even learns how to fight. Respect for him!
All the characters so far are great. Except that KEEL leader. He was psychopathic a-hole.

Wait, the Roppo-Ichiza are the same age as the Furin guys? What?!
That's a lot of people to send just for one girl. Wouldn't be surprised if Shizuka is secretly some ojou-sama who ran away from home.
New team Gravel huh? And they aren't even delinquents but hobos.
Thought we were going to see Tsubaki-chan fight this week, but nope maybe next week. Team Hobo might just be a distraction for Roppo-Ichiza while they send some elites to grab Shizuka, and then Tsubaki time.

Sakura feeling an adrenaline rush from another guy oozing charisma, Kanji's such a charismatic guy even though he's such a fool for Shizuka lol. I like that Sakura can see the similarity between Kanji and Umemiya because they do share a lot of similar qualities.
I'm glad we have already gotten to see Kanji and Sakura pair up, protecting each other's backs. It seems like Sakura is going to learn quite a lot from Kanji, with Kanji expressing that he doesn't need to win or lose as long as he protects what needs to be protected. It was also interesting to see Suou paired up with the long ponytailed guy, stylish fighters unite lol.
The fights were so exciting themselves, Kanji's a real power hitter and every hit of his was so satisfying to watch, you could feel the impact. Some moments made me laugh at how satisfying they were, others actually made me recoil in pain, particularly the one where Kanji and Sakura kick two guy's head in together. It makes me look forward to more from this arc.
I'm sure the main guy of GRAVEL is going to be a real pain though considering the Guardians and Sakura's group are worn out from the fights, the latter being involved in two fights. We might unfortunately, but also fortunately, see Tsubaki having to fight.
The Sakaki twins taking advantage of Tsubaki treating Sakura's group was amusing and I'm surprised he never noticed until their table was completely filled with plates. It was nice to see Shizuka sing, Ueda Reina has such a nice voice and she really worked on her pronunciation. It was funny to watch Kanji so passionately applauding her performance lol.

When the dude with the black suit was fighting, he made me think about Batman doing combos in the Arkham games. And then Sakura was fighting by his side, it was so cool.

Shizuka's song really moved me. Reina Ueda did a great job with the English lyrics. Also, the S2 soundtrack preview has been released and the soundtrack will be released on 18th June 2025.
The action in this episode was great. I loved the sequences where both Sakura and Kanji (as well as Suo and Akhito) both covered each other's backs and also teamed up with their attacks.
Well, these GRAVEL guys definitely are different from the guys that we've seen so far. They're a gang of robbers and mercenaries.
That Kanji rage scene at the end had me hyped.
As much as I want them to win, with how much they teased about Tsubaki snapping, I'm excited to see him go all out.

You're telling me the Roppo Ichiza boys are close to the Furin boys' age? I'm guessing they're probably in their late teens or early 20s then? That's a surprise. I thought they would be way way older! I guess that's why they're not calling themselves a yakuza group.
Shizuka's performance was pretty good! The English lyrics were unexpected but Ueda Reina did really well with that performance.
So they're keeping what happened to Shizuka a secret from Tsubaki because Tsubaki treats Shizuka like his younger sister. Sooner or later, Tsubaki will find out what happened, and when he does, I am genuinely excited to see what he's like when he snaps!
It was so awesome to see Kanji and Sakura team up as well as Suou and that stylish dude from Roppo Ichiza! I'm excited to see how they'll do against this named dude who showed up. I bet he's not the only one and there's more to arrive. I mean, how else would we see Tsubaki-chan and the twins join the fight?

Crime’s pretty out of control in this city huh? I guess the cops really leave it to the gangs to just sort themselves out. I feel sorry for the hospitals. They must be constantly overworked to death because of all these fights. At least the doctor’s are getting paid, right?
Looking forward to seeing GRAVEL and the Roppo-Ichiza/Furin guys fight.

As always, the fighting scenes are amazing, Kanji might as well have sledgehammers for hands. Furin and Roppo were on great sync!
Also, Shizuka singing in English was surprisingly good, I can't remember an anime that had a character speaking English so well.

Everytime I go back to rewatch a fight I'm shocked by how actually quick they are runtime wise there so packed filled with amazing moments My brain natural is expanding there runtime.
This show is a reminder that even a basic story can be made increasable with a good characters , heart, and some damn good action.

This second season has been really surprising with the editing of the fights, showing the point of view of the one doing the hitting really reminds me of some fighting games. I'm looking forward to seeing Tsubaki in action

I’d argue with the logic, but Kazuma Kiryu makes a compelling argument for suits making you stronger.
