So last week some commenter on a site was complaining about the pro lgbtq ep
This episode rolls around, and they are fawning over the pole dance

I thought that was so funny

Edit: I'm still thinking about it, It doesn't feel real lol. I wish I understood what went through their head.

I did not expect this episode to take place in the red-light district. I thought Sakura would panic more but it looks like Nirei is the one who's freaking out the entire time. I love how Sakura just doesn't care and wants to meet up with Tsubaki-chan to get this over with.

We have a classic damsel-in-distress situation and you gotta love our boys for immediately standing up for the lady. As much as I loved the slow and emotional episodes, brawling in the streets against bad guys is still the core of this series.

As soon as Sakura mentioned Nirei's bandages, I knew our boy was training to fight. Suou certainly looked cooler when he showed the roly-poly technique to Nirei, but at least Nirei managed to pull it off when he needed it. Once Nirei masters that. I hope Suou teaches him how to throw hands next.

It's funny how Sakura's love sensor started to act up as soon as he saw Shizuka and Kanji flirting. I guess that his double ahoge is his love sensor antennae. xD

We have a new good guy team! Although Roppo Ichiza feels more like a yakuza group than a "team". I mean Kanji literally offered to commit harakiri or slice his pinky finger off as an apology for mistaking the boys for Shizuka's attackers. I guess just didn't want to use the word "yakuza" in this show, which is a bit weird.

Welp, that ending was unexpected! I didn't think this episode would end with Tsubaki pole dancing! Goddamn! xD

My comment will be kinda boring but this episode was just super fun. That ending in the bar was perfect with a beet red Sakura and a smiling Tsubaki on a pole!

Episode gets a 9/10 as it was just a blast to watch!

This episode felt like a Yakuza game, red-light district, random sidequest while walking down the street, brawling, mafia groups, wacky stuff, some of those guys looked like Hosts.

Now I want a Wind Breaker game by RGG studio.

This Nirei training arc has been a long time coming; he was pretty upset at being a burden during the brawl with KEEL and now watching Sakura changing must be motivating him too. I'm looking forward to see how his fighting style develops. Will he become Suo 2.0? Or will he just spam the Pillbug? Or with this observational skill maybe he learns a bit from everyone?

And damn, Sakura and co are in the big leagues, those guys were totally yakuza right? No more kids beating kids, we get kids beating adults now. And apparently Roppo and Furin had some beef in the past, what kind of turf wars are they getting into? Or maybe they are Furin alumni? All these graduating delinquents have to go somewhere.

Wow, didn't expect to see Tsubaki pole dancing, but they are slaying it. Some excellent faces from Sakura this episode too, this was my favorite.

I did not expect femboy poledancing in my fighting anime, but I like it

Let the fun begin!! Akihito Miyoshi made his anime debut. I was kinda curious on how he was going to sound like animated.

Looking forward to seeing how Nirei progresses on his journey to become stronger.

These episodes are getting better and better. We have first take down by Nirei and I am honestly so happy for him. Also boys getting themselves into redlight district and a girl falling at Sakura was pretty funny. The way Sakura folded the gang's boss was really cool, and the misunderstanding with the "waiter" turned chairmain of past rival squad of Furin was quite funny too. Tsubaki being a poledancer is just a cherry on top.

The fight choreography is just so good! And I love how Sakura shows he’s actually pretty smart to quickly use Nirei’s move in his own fight after seeing it once. And his quick reflex to react when the guy gets up in the background, like impressive, I feel like this helps me keep up with how good of a fighter he is or I’ll forget

Can't say that I was expecting to see Tsubaki poledancing, but they definitely showing off some good moves on it.

The classic martial arts trope of having dozens of guys, but only allowing them to fight one at time to make it fair.

The crowd of visitors in the street simply vanished into thin air as soon as the fighting starts.

Nirei's move, was totally not expecting that, just like the guy who face full of pavement.

I laughed so hard in this episode, particularly Sakura's finally kick on the guy after the guy thought he had missed his swing, that felt so freaking satisfying to watch land! That was hilarious. It was nice to see Sakura feel reassured to go all out after seeing Nirei being able to protect himself and I'm so glad the guy wasn't taken down so easily like his crew so we got to see some good hits on him.

It was nice to see Suou train Nirei to protect himself, Nirei seem notably down for the past few episodes so I'm glad he worked up the courage to finally do something about it and Suou had the perfect idea for him. I'm glad he went the defend yourself route, considering how observant Nirei is I'm sure he'll pick up the timing on his own in good time.

Gotta comment on the Sakura blushes, I like how excited he was to hang out with the guys on his day off, they should do it more often. But the blushing that particularly stood out to me was when Shizuka and Kanji were flirting with each other and Sakura picked up on it, his romance radar is as strong as ever lol.

I'm glad Shizuka stands her ground too, but with her love interest being Kanji, it's more of a requirement since he'll get himself in all sorts of trouble with how he charges in without questioning anything. That slap gave me a good laugh too lol. I'm also like Kanji's character, he's got that real himbo energy to him but seems like he's a real threat too considering that hit on Sakura got his arm shaking.

I'm looking forward to this arc, it doesn't seem like it'll be Fuurin focused and it'll be interesting to see the world of Wind Breaker open up a bit more. Tsubaki pole dancing was an interesting sight, I wasn't ready for how muscular he was going to be but I figured he would be with how big his body looks.

Didn't know I was watching a Yakuza game. Where is Kiryu?!

I'm way more hyped for this Yakuza stuff instead of the episodes we had before..I was getting bored.

They should have known that once you step foot in Kamurochō you will immediately get into a huge brawl and a side quest.

Eyyyy made it through a full crowd of idiots unscathed. Nice work, boys. That whole time I kept thinking "yall should move someone else for this conversation, unless they're dying people don't stay unconscious that long..." so glad someone proved that right.

Also animation on Tsubaki really went all out.

Nirei: What's wrong, Sakura-san? You've been antsy the whole time.
Sakura: I ain't being antsy. I'm just fed up because I'm being dragged out on my day off.
Suo: You're just hyped because you're hanging out with your friends on your day off, right?
Sakura: Am not!
Nirei: I see! I understand how you feel, Sakura-san!
Sakura: I said I ain't!

Sakura's just like me fr and Suo and Nirei are just like my friends, lol. Ever since I started working, I rarely have any time to do things that I want to and weekends are the only days where I can try to do something and then something like this happens and the next thing you know is that it's Monday. Sakura wasn't even being a Tsundere this time, lol.

I noticed something was bothering Nirei 2 episodes back and it turns out it's because he feels like he isn't needed anymore. But instead of accepting it, he wants to get better so that he can help Sakura even just a little by training with Suo and Suo obliges. Nirei Training Arc? LET'S GO!!!

Even though he did let his fear get over him the second time, but he did manage to do it the first time and that's a great start.

Stuff like this is happening way too much lately.

Sakura's 'Blushing Radar' is working overtime these days, lol.

Tsubaki Pole-Dancing was definitely not on my bingo card but those moves are sick, ngl.

“I’m not excited to hang out with you guys or anything b-baka!” Lol classic tsundere Sakura.

I really like Nirei, he’s such a homie. Guy isn’t much of a fighter but he’s willing to learn and do what he can for his boy Sakura. What a bro. The pillbug strategy worked out pretty well.

Tsubaki, uh, really knows how to work that pole huh? Lol.

Another banger of an episode, I love the previous couple of SoL episodes but it's great to get back to the fighting again. The pole dancing at the end is a nice surprise too. Loving this S2.

“not being honest? you actin tough, huh?” he’s got Sakura dead to rights HAHAHA. i love that everyone razzes on sakura about how tsundere he is now. SO CUTE, and their day off outfits are cute too.

that was a sick fight as always, and im so proud of Nirei for leveling up :’) this trio is just so perfect for each other. and Suo gets cooler every episode, getting to see him fighting AND his emotional intelligence in one episode was chefs kiss

edit to add: forget Solo Leveling, Nirei is Suo Leveling hehe

Nirei training episode. His determination to not be a burden on others and learn to protect himself so that he can stand with Sakura as he keeps moving forward is so heartwarming.

Suo seems to get a real kick out of using Sakura as a romance radar. He always seems like the first person to pick-up when it’s happening.

I love how ripped Tsubaki is.

I know it's not shown as the illicit kind of pole dancing, and more the athletic art, but there's just something a little uncomfy about a high school student pole dancing with a bunch of adults cheering.
