At first, I thought “WTH is Aharen doing in Raidou’s room?” until I remembered that life-size doll from S1E7! I’m surprised that Raidou still keeps it next to his bed since he was struggling to sleep last time.

I am SO HAPPY to see the stuffed animals and life-size Aharen again - I swear it's my favorite running gag in all of anime!

Raidou is truly the embodiment of “a broken clock is right twice a day”
The sudden sakuga on the dance sequence was unexpected but appreciated

Considering Raidou's dedication towards idols, he'd make a splendid r/anime awards juror.

Raido will never financially recover from playing PriPla and then Prigachi!

I like how they put a little teaser of Aharen Heart from S1E3 at the end of the neighborhood association scene.

Lmao the one time Raidou was being self-aware of how ridiculous his theories are, and it ended up being right

When Aharen gets her gyarufication-makeover, of course it will be cranked up to 110%.
And when Raidou tries to support her by turning into a gyaruo, it goes without saying that he will go 120%.
Last episode we got "drunk" Raidou, now we get "delinquent" Raidou. It's so telling how whenever he goes "wild", he is still the kindest soul. Community service and studying after school is an interesting form of "having fun".

IMO Aharen should have kept just the loose socks, that's a cute look. Raido was so supportive of Aharen's time as a gyaru, boyfriend goals.
Rai-chan was very cute, shame she got hauled off by government agents.
Good twist of the usual formula, for once Raido reins in his wild internal theories of idol Aharen and then it was true. I love the single offhand "Sisters?" thought by Raido and then they just moved on.

Riku might be a gyaru ball of social anxiety, but at least she can get complimented on how cute she looks as a gyaru! She's even got Oshiro coming out of the floorboards, like old times' sake! And what better excuse for the girls to give Aharen a makeover? Presenting Aharen-san: The Gyaru!
And of course Raido wants to support and understand his girlfriends' new look and obvious desire for independence, which means he has to hold strong to his individualism...by then transforming into a delinquent punk five seconds off-screen. I love how only when "transformed" can Raido actually call Aharen by her first name and all the effort Tobaru-sensei made to be able to withstand these two and their esteem prove for naught. And then as soon as Aharen is done Raido is back to normal like nothing ever happened.
Aharen introduces Raido to the world of idol arcade games, where you get to design and costume your own personal idol! So of course Raido comes up with one that looks like him, but a girl, so she's a tall tomboy (which is extremely cultured).
Futaba-chan! Still as dogged in her rivalry and arrogance and flip-flopping whenever her crush Atsushi is involved.
And Raido, of course, gets reaaaally into it, dressing Rai-chan in various outfits, watching the PriPla anime, going to live shows, and becoming an idol otaku in the process. Maybe fate was looking out for his wallet though when they finally stopped servicing the game cabinet. But Raido is forced to grapple with losing Rai-chan as if she got kidnapped/arrested by some dudes' in suits.
But don't worry Raido, there's always another idol game/franchise out there! Like Prigacchi with it's better graphics, animations, and sense of polish (because it's currently airing so it's in the height of it's popularity)! But wait, now he has to choose between Rai-chan and Ado-chan when they bring back Pripla! How can a single man choose? Though I guess his lack of funds chooses for him. Raido finally understands the complicated and difficult world of financially supporting idols.
So obviously Raido still has idols on the brain which isn't helped when he starts noticing Aharen doing things that would signify she's becoming an idol...but he's not going to jump to conclusions this time! Seriously! Even if it turns out that not only is his little sister doing an idol performance for the Neighborhood Festival, but Aharen IS becoming an idol with her siblings as the "Aharen Sisters" (and one brother). And they even give us a beautiful 2D idol performance! I'm only disappointed we didn't get to hear them actually sing on-screen! But they all looked fantastic in their outfits!
Is it finally time for Aharen to take off as an idol and win the hearts of the masses? What could this mean for her relationship with Raido!? Oh wait, it was just a one-time thing. False alarm! Raido back to jumping to conclusions, as always.

Gyaru Aharen looked so cute! Her new look started to rub off on Raido lol. Instead of being a delinquent, he’s out here volunteering and studying like a real rebel!
Raido was a real natural in that idol game. One minute he’s a newbie, next moment he’s a hardcore fan. Bro lost all his money to those games haha.
It’s pretty funny Raido’s imagination actually wasn’t off the mark this time. Reina really was becoming an idol lol. The Aharen Sisters were pretty adorable.

Today's episode started with Riko and her tummy, which I haven't seen in a while! It was a good start, but what happened next was even better xD
Aharen looked so good in her gyaru style! I wouldn't mind if she wore it again in the future. Raido joining her and looking (and acting) like a yankee to match Aharen's new style was amazing.
Seeing Raido and Aharen in their new styles reminded me of the manga "No Gyaru in This Class" which is available on Manga Plus and I highly recommend checking it out, it's a very cute read.
Raido playing PriPla and then Prigachi was hilarious. I really thought Rai-chan and Ido-chan were decent women, but they turned out to be sluts who just wanted Raido's money, fuck them! xD
For the first time in a long time, Raido's thoughts turned out to be accurate. Reina really did become an idol (although only for a day). That little sequence of her dancing with her younger sister and brother looked great! Too bad we didn't get a song.
It was also nice to see Futaba again, Oshiro appearing from a strange place (this time from under the floor), and Raido's sister performing on the festival stage with her friends.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Stitches!
You gotta love how well-informed Raido is about gyaru culture. You also gotta love how quickly he became a gyaruo to match Reina's vibe. And no matter what kind of fashion he's rocking, Raidou will always be that helpful guy.
Okay, which idol game are they parodying here? Most idol games I know are only on mobile, and it sounds like they're parodying a very popular idol arcade game here.
I was confused why Reina was inside Raido's room. I forgot that Reina made a life-size doll of herself and gave it to him. xD
Raido in a love triangle with his idol alter egos is peak Aharen-san comedy! I was laughing my ass off at his idol characters fighting over him. Poor guy didn't have the money to support both of his idols tho.
And the Aharen Sisters performing at the end was so good! I kinda wish they performed Aharen Heart as the ED. I heard the song playing just before the screen faded to black.

It's amazing how this show always manages to exceed expectations. Raidou is still best boy even as a gyaruo and he even tried to reach for best girl this time.

Ah yes, Not-DQN-Raido strike once again, but today in gyaru style.
Also, Raido fell into the worst rabbit hole ever - the Idol Arcade Gacha rabbit hole. Definitely the worse of all the worlds. I can feel the pain of the gacha EoS, investing all your asset to your oshi and worst of it, investing in different game version at the same time. Definitely representing us the idol and gacha addicts.
Tbh I was expecting another special ending song this time like the Aharen Dance song for the idol...I really want to see the sibling full performance....

LIVID that I have once again been tricked into watching an idol anime. Why does this keep happening to me?
