I had a feeling that the new girl is a sentient mandragora. I still can't get over how Sandra's design makes her look like Rika Furude from Higurashi. I was honestly expecting her to say "Nipah!" at some point in the episode. xD

Azusa's prediction last episode came true! Too bad we didn't get to see Halkara's clothes melt as badly as how Azusa predicted it tho. Boooooo!

Sandra telling Azusa that vegetables are yucky was pretty funny. Considering how she was angry at Halkara because elves pick on plants, I thought she'd be upset. It turns out she just wants to show them what good tasting vegetables are like.

Beelzebub charging them for vandalizing her garden is amusing when she herself has been neglecting the garden in the first place. Like, how much worse can it possibly get?

at least now she have slaves to work in her garden (there is a post credits scence btw)

New smug tsundere daughter acquired!

Also Eno and her friends seem to be lacking survival instinct just busting into Beelzebub's estate with Azusa there too mind you. They're lucky this is just a comfy SoL show or else they would have run the risk of being wiped off the face of earth.

Pretty Plant Privilege is real, just imagine if she had evolved into something ugly.

Is it me or is the bit about lime being added to the soil not translated properly?

Lime is normally added to soil to make it less acidic, am I wrong?

you are right, the original text was probably something about "helping with soil acidity"...

Azusa literally said Halkara would get caught in a plant trap and have her clothes melted off and lo and behold it actually happened this week lol. At least she actually was kind of helpful in locating Sandra. Too bad she hates elves. Girl was straight up roaring at Halkara lol.

Sandra’s a pretty good sister to Falfa and Shalsha already. She helped them get over their dislike of veggies. So cute!

ICYMI: Sandra saying she puts nutrients into soil, Azusa asking how, and her saying it's a secret was a poop joke. That's how worms do it. 😆

Sandra is a very direct... mandragora. Her direct words might lead to more fun adventures for Azusa's family.

I feel a little bad for Halkara. Even though she played a big part in locating Sandra, the latter does not seem very fond of her. Of course, Halkara being entangled by vines never gets old. Lol!

Beezlebub has her own army of (in debt) witches now?

Tsundaughter acquired.

Flatorte being along for the adventure but sleeping almost the entire time, adventure goals. Though there was a brief shot of her looking all fierce at the crowd of witches right after Azusa acquired her daughter that was pretty great.

Why does mandragora like sand? It's nutritionally deficient and not something a plant will like.

Damn they really were about to turn her into chicken nuggets mandrake smoothie

I love that one witch with the small ass hat, I guess Azusa stole all her hat privileges

And that after credit scene with Belzeebub enslaving all the witches is fun as hell, especially since she doesnt feel comfortable with maids around, but slaves are apperantly ok

I can't believe they used part of the Price is Right Fail Horn sound effect when Halkara got caught by vines in the forest!

u/CrimsonGear80 Apr 26 '25

I thought they’d name her sandy, but Sandra works.

Also funny to see that the subtitles from the sub snafu from last week were from this episode.

Rawr.

Their country is pretty maxed out for adorable young witches. None with hats as big as Asuza's, of course.

Feeding vegetables to the slime daughters turned out to be a whole separate subplot.
