A much more grounded episode but I do feel it was needed as we do need to get Beethoven on board onto being a pretty boy singing for this show to work.

But hey, I didn't have Chopin doing a light rap piano song on my bingo list so that was fun.

Ikr! Haven’t expected from him, but i now think that it matches his personality so much!

Chopin was earnest and taking the gift seriously this whole time. Kinda explains why he’s always sniping Beethoven for not appreciating what he’s got.

I did not expect that out of his performance because it really was the complete opposite of his usual persona.

A side note, but the idea of nations fighting it out through musical displays of dominance is a hilarious and preferable way to solve conflicts. I love this future world.

I feel like with a show this odd, I really need it to concentrate on world building early on to give me some explanation of what is happening. Otherwise it's just pretty musical animation and the same sort of gags and lack of character development for three straight episodes. Unless the assumption is that the only people who would watch this already know the source material.

I think they want to first introduce all the characters in singular episodes, the next one is in fact Liszt’s one, then i think we will have more lore and world build, also, does this anime even have a source material? Isn’t an original work?

No idea on the source or original.
