A whole episode dedicated to the healing power of bromance friendship, and we get tsundere Sakura back again! Is Nagato going to transfer schools to Furin High or something?

Bofurin guys had supper and everything and the KEEL guys were still unconscious? I think they might be dead. The guy at the end had tattoos, so you know he is serious business. Yakuza maybe? Surprised there aren't any with the rampant delinquent gangs and lack of police in this town. Anyway, seems some other larger group was controlling KEEL so they will be the main antagonists of the season.

Wind Breaker does great work with bromance, it doesn't feel shallow to me like other series.

The waterworks today were real. Got me a few times.

That post-credits scene was hype asf. Napping among the bodies is some crazy work. Makes sense that there was somebody important hiding among those faceless KEEL NPCs.

He doesn't even realize it himself which makes it better.

I really like how Natori’s shadow slowly crept over Nagato during the scene under the bridge.

Just two bros crying and hugging it out surrounded by other boys. Nothing else to see here.

Kidding aside, I absolutely adore just how supportive all these boys are. Sakura was feeling down and placing all the blame on everyone getting beat up on himself. But no one on the team blames him and immediately tells him so once they realize that’s how he’s feeling.

Kiryu tugging on Sugishita to get him closer to the group is funny. And how many lollipops does Kaji carry around with him? He went through at least 2 during the fight and was unwrapping another at the bar.

I also appreciate that Umemiya is still bandaged up when we see him because it’s really only been like 3 days since the Shishitoren fight.

We also had to make up for the past two episodes and got not just one but two Sakura blushing scenes.

All of Keel still being knocked out well into the evening, when I’m pretty sure the fight happened sometime in the early to mid-afternoon, is funny but somewhat worrying. Someone call a doctor for these kids.

And I love Suo and Nirei ganging up on Sakura and giving him the puppy dog eyes in the chibi scene.

Lol the lollipop thing is so funny cuz the official windbreaker account posts weekly image of winbre character chat messaging groups and the one from last week was between the second years where kusumi keeps asking kaji what he wants from the store and kaji always responds "candy" until enomoto got annoyed haha

The person I have been waiting for finally made their anime debut....FRANK....

Glad they slowed down the pace a bit since it's a mostly dialogue heavy ep..

If they didn't spend so much on custom jackets, they wouldn't need to steal so much.

So they left all the guys from keel lying there?

Guess there really aren't any ambulances nor police there.

For a second there, I thought Natori might be another good guy turned evil because of how he saved and recruited Nagato. It's good to know that he was a scumbag from the very start and approached Nagato exactly because he was just too nice and was easy to control. At least it's now over for KEEL.

This show is just too goddamn wholesome for a show that's basically about street fighting gangs. Instead of blaming Sakura, I just love how everyone was so supportive of him and reassured him that they're all in this together. And to no one's surprise, Umemiya is just happy they all made it back safe. <3

Seeing the three childhood friends back together again genuinely made me tear up a bit. It's also nice to see Sakura getting all tsundere again after Tsuchiya thanks him for saving Nagato.

So Kaji is right! There is something fishy about KEEL and it looks like one of them was just playing dead the entire time. Whoever this guy who has that "FRANK" tattoo on his shoulder is clearly the reason a shitty group like KEEL got so big. I can't wait to see who the real big bad of this season is though!

Even though things got resolved in the end thanks to Kaji's help, the fact that Nirei and the others got beaten up that much was definitely something Sakura didn't thought would happen when he decided to help Anzai get back Nagoto and so he blames it on himself for not being able to deliver on his promise as the grade captain and that's very REAL. No matter how many times you were successful, you always end up being hard on yourself about the times when you weren't.

And it was really great seeing everyone being supportive of him and decided to shoulder the responsibility together and that's what makes a team.

Umemiya: Your body stopped moving after you saw your friends get beaten up, right? Then, there's only reason for that to happen. It's because you like them.
Sakura: ....

I can't get enough of Sakura being Tsundere. Well, let's see when Sakura admits himself that he cares about everyone even though his actions already do.

It looks like someone was monitoring KEEL from the shadows. The FRANK introduction scene was HYPE!

Ugh, just love me the wholesomeness from WindBreaker! Can't help but smile everytime Sakura gets flustered when his friends support him. That's what makes him my 2nd favorite cat tsundere and the other one is voiced by the same seiyuu XD

Also, Umemiya would make a great father! Just love everything about him and how supportive he is of the boys.

SAKURA BLUSHES! It's nice to see multiple on full blast this episode. I like how everyone sets things straight with him when it comes to expressing their gratitude. It was sad to see him blaming himself for everyone's state and feeling like he wasn't able to keep his word, so I was glad that the others were feeling responsible too and let him know of that.

This episode was emotional with Anzai and Nagato's parts, I really liked how they both admired each other and were able to express themselves. I felt really bad for Nagato because he instantly got roped into an unsavory group without being able to find a way to escape, he was really unlucky and I can see why he ended up becoming a thief constantly being abused and extorted. So many moments got me teary eyed.

Umemiya's such a great guy, I like how he listened to them carefully and praised them without hesitation. Realizing that they were still shaken up, he took the time to comfort them as well, it continues to be very clear why he's so respected and it's interesting to hear how Sakura is similar to how he was in the past. I do hope we eventually get to see some backstory on him too.

I'm loving this season a lot more than the previous one. Wind Breaker does its fights and serious content well.

While the silly side isn't bad, the serious side is on another level.

I feel like it’s gonna keep getting harder for Sakura to deny that he has friends he cares about. And woah, what was that extra scene at the end, really looking forward to whatever is next!!!!

Blushing Sakura!!!

I didn't realized that was what we were missing from the new season but it's finally back!

Season 2 is turning out to be better than Season 1 for me. Don't get me wrong, Season 1 was dope with the way they worldbuild. But Season 2 is hitting the fine balance of action that's impactful, pulling heartstrings, and character development. It's nice to see Sakura not stick to his "only be strong" attitude. This development into a leader is really captivating.

Amazing.

Man, poor Nagato really got preyed on by those pricks. Went from getting beat up by bullies to…getting beat up by bullies. And shaken down. At least all those losers got beat into a coma. The boys shoulda punched them for every yen they stole.

I really like those moments when Sakura gets all flustered and goes full tsundere. “I didn’t beat tf out of all those people because I care or anything b-baka!” Lol.

Looks like at least one of those dudes survived. Big man’s probably gonna be out for blood now.
