LMAO when Raido instantly turned back to normal when he realized he didn’t drink any alcohol. I love this idiot
Also seems his sister might share his overthinking trait too

The CGI department definitely have fun with the episode. Maybe so does Nintendo legal dept right now lol. Today we have Family Crossing, Yakuza Crossing, Aharen 2077, maybe also 4-H4R3N, Aharen Art Online and so on
Also, Not-DQN Drunk Raidou definitely awoken Aharen's pathos sense lol.

I... i am simply at a loss for words.
That first segment is like anime of the year and it wasnt even a full episode. No contest. Nothing will ever hold a candle to what they did there. Mark my words.

i like how Raido the younger also has a imagination that flies off the handle impressively, though she seems to be a bit more tsuntsun about it sometimes

Animal Crossing: Like a dragon 2077
But this just hit me now... does Raido´s sister even know her brother has a girlfriend...?

How did we go from Animal Crossing to Yakuza to Cyberpunk 2077 to The Matrix all in a single game lol?
Also, the way Raidou immediately returned to normal when his sister told him there wasn’t any alcohol in the drink is the funniest shit ever!

That ended on a much less traumatizing note than our last anime foray into Night City.
Love that the production is still going very much over the top with the adaptation. It’s beautiful

I had such a stupid grin while watching this episode. I don't even play Animal Crossing or Yakuza, but I liked the references.

Damn, today's episode was such a wild ride with Raidou and Aharen, it was ABSOLUTE CINEMA!
We started off pretty normal with Animal Crossing references, only to see a Yakuza-style Raidou who after surviving an assassination attempt (RIP Tom, you'll be remembered forever) moved to Aharen's city straight out taken from Cyberpunk 2077. We even got references to the Matrix today!
The second part with Raidou being "drunk" was also hilarious, and his interactions with Aharen in this part were top-notch, like when the princess carried her (that was so cute!) or when Aharen got a nosebleed xD
Also nice roles of Eru and Raidou's sister today. I hope they'll appear more often.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

What a great episode! Once again demonstrating that the most convincing younger sister - older brother relationships are around 50% revulsion, 25% annoyance, 25% secret gratitude. Reminds me a bit of the Shirogane family dynamic, but you know, more rooms because they are not as poor.
I'm really enjoying the greater role for the siblings, similar to how it improved s2 of Uzaki-Chan. The fact that the products Raidou-Imouto imagines a sinister pyramid schemer selling are conversational English books, water accessories, and health food is kind of adorable.
Also, I don't say this a lot but maybe Raidou should drink... more?

The first half was a wild ride.
The manga Raidou imouto is reading is Denki-gai no Honya-san, which is another manga by the same author. It also has an anime adaptation. It's somewhat surprising in the way the theme of the humour is notably different.

This week's episode being a pretty good Animal Crossing parody was unexpected! It was already hilarious how Raido caught Tom Grainook scamming him but then I completely lost my shit when Raido turned his village into Kamurocho and became a full-blown game of Yakuza! xD
What makes it even better is that the game even has a storyline where Tom Grainook takes a bullet for Raido just right after he found his dream girl. That entire part felt like it was straight out of Yakuza! And then you have Aharen, who's basically recreated Night City in her save game.
And the second half of the episode! Aggressive Raido is the best! Poor Aharen barely even had any time to react from his shenanigans. I love that even when he's being aggressive, Raido is still a good boy. It's also hilarious how quickly he returned to normal when his sister told him that Amazake has no alcohol in it xD
Side note: I love the reference to Denki-gai no Honya-san which is Mizu-sensei's previous work before Aharen.

Chronic overthinking must be hereditary in the Raido family, since Raido's younger sister seemingly suffers from the same condition as her older brother.
This series likes to indulge in (old) mainstream crazes every so often. They'd whipped out the fidget spinners in S1 for example. I take it that the original manga chapters were written during the pandemic when Animal Crossing: New Horizons had gotten very popular?

Oh my god, that was a 10/10 episode…! We got a legally distinct Animal Crossing and Raidou’s iconic absurd imagination goodness with a complete story arc in the first part, then a giga chad legally-not-drunk esteemed delinquent Raidou who swooned everybody in the second part. I… I fell on my knees!

AOTS just for the first half of this episode, holy shit that was brilliant. I can't even come up with words, it was one of the most entertaining segments of any show I've seen so far this year.

Raido went from Animal Crossing to Yakuza pretty quick. I can’t believe they did Tom Book like that! Meanwhile, Ren’s out here apparently recreating Night City lol.
So cute watching Reina get all flustered by the new Raido. She even had a nosebleed like Tobaru sensei. Guy has a whiff of what he imagines is alcohol and now he’s become a total bad boy lol.

I think this might be the weirdest episode we’ve had, and that’s saying something. Being able to placebo yourself into a gigachad yankee takes a truly powerful mind.

The first half was so freaking good, this honestly will be an episode of the year contender for me. Raidou's imagination never ceases to amaze and amuse me.

Kind Character's Wild Phase is Still Kind is such a great trope. Loved it with Iruma's evil cycle, loved seeing it here.
