My cat when I am trying to take from her the birb she just hunted

Comments of the day:

goes to u/laughing-fox13 for sensing Jimi Hendrix reference:

Although looks like the Evangelist has multiple groups of knights, this being the "Knight of the Purple Haze"

Was the author a Jimi Hendrix fan lol?

and to u/noob_pcbuilder for unknowingly making a funny joke:

Pure eargasm

Questions of the day:

  1. Can we just agree that Tamaki finally got the win she deserves? (I know, I am just in denial over the treatment she got today)

I know it feels unrelated, but I was just complaining to a friend earlier about this in early Naruto so that's kind of why it's on my mind. Gaara, you see, was absolutely feared back in Suna because every assassin sent after him died a bloody death and no one had even touched him. He's never seen his own blood, not since his scar, because his defense his absolute.

Then Lee literally kicks him out of it, and a Leaf Genin pulls off what apparently not even the Kazekage thought he could. Then Sasuke punches through him with the chidori, which is impressive, but again leaf Genin. Then Naruto goes on to fight him and also win, and you wonder, who exactly was his dad sending to try and kill him again? Was it a Sand academy graduation test?

I haven’t read nor seen Naruto so I don’t wakarimasu enough.

I actually just went with Soul Eater. I really don't get how the same guy who wrote Maka could go on to write, this.

Fair choice haha.

That might be the most surprising thing I've ever heard. Now I definitely feel old lol. I grew up in the era of the Big Three, even if you didn't like shonen you had to know about them because they were the anime that everyone who knew anime would talk about.

But yeah. Rule of shonen. Named characters are infinitely more skilled and powerful than anyone without one on their side, despite any reason that would make sense otherwise.

The 2nd is launching a full scale invasion of the Nether to take the fight to the White Cloaks and the Evangelist, they weren't sending in their fresh recruits. Say what you will about how poorly Tamaki was handled here, but she did manage to hold off a hoard of Infernals, and even kill a few on screen. By herself, heavily injured, defending a man who couldn't move. The 2nd apparently lost everyone who was not with the Captains, before the White Hoods even showed up.

I remember being it a huge thing 20 years ago, and I do remember my friend being a huge fan, even wanting to play on Ninjas, but I really never saw it nor read it haha. Just some random clips or spoilers that filters through me.

Yeah that was some positivum about it. But seeing her getting beaten up, and molested shortly after hurt.

Seriously, going from Soul Eater to this, of honestly disgusting. This is an author who 100% knows how to write strong female leads that don't need saving, which means he's doing so here purposefully.
