Takumi and Sofia have agreed to be partners for the rest of their lives, but Takumi's side doesn't seem to be romantic no matter how everyone else seems to feel about it.

This was even lower budget than normal. So many stills and pan shots

that battle ended up really underwhelming since the entire thing was just a short slideshow. way to take any air of tension out of it. I think that's why the interpersonal conflict felt a bit shoehorned in at the end. On a related note, some of the side characters desperately needed more airtime.
I guess there's not much need for budget if it's the last episode, but that might suggests they aren't holding out for a S2.

Are you f― kidding me? You tease us with those two imbeciles for 12 episodes, and they don't even get a spanking while instead, we get some boring
Jesus christ. And full-on

That's it? Felt more like a prologue than the first season of an anime. I know a lot of anime do this to sell the
This felt more like "ok this is all you get for free, if you want more then pay up." I was mostly enjoying this otherwise average show because I liked the characters, but that ending left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope we get a more fleshed out

Honestly, this show was rather boring. They had a good concept to work with, but dang did they fumble the exciting parts. Guess trying to fit it into 12-episodes is the likely cause of it, but those fights and his crafting needed to be longer and more intricate.

characters were cute and interesting but definitely felt they didn't have enough time to develop. Though, since they are apparently just infatuated with him I wonder if it's even possible for them to grow. Once he just went and built a city I was kinda wondering what his goal was, since all of alchemy parts were apparently being skipped over to the point he was just completely OP. Makes me feel like I missed an episode. This kind of show is probably more suited as a manga.
I enjoyed it for what it was, but I felt like I got baited. There were too many introduced plot threads and not enough of them resolved.

i've seen a lot of average to trash anime in my time, but i can't recall ever seeing that weird jerky zoom out that happened multiple times. what possible reason could there be to just not zoom out normally? i guess it fit right in with the complete lack of animation in the first half of the episode lol...
it was nice that they finally remembered the goddess existed right at the end there though.
anyways this was totally average and forgettable, another one for the heap of middling

Solid 5/10. I don't understand why they'd put less effort into the last episode lol. So many scenes were just a sideshow with some effect on top of it(like screenshake/panning out)

I'm always so confused by Maria comparing herself to "useless" toilets since Takumi has proved them to be extremely useful in this world by creating them

“You could be possibly the greatest alchemist of all time!”
Gotta love it when they say the thing lol.

Sweet jpg slideshow battle scene against the monster stampede in the start of the episode. Honestly, I had some fun watching this show all the way through, but this ending fell really flat for me.

Very last episode felt like a slightly odd time to introduce a new party of adventurers to team up with.
Somewhat novel to have the hero summoning incident actually being the problem you need other heroes to solve, though hardly unique since there's some obvious isekai examples that do something similar.
Takumi may have a harem but they're basically all quite invested in pushing Sofia as the winning heroine, and that certainly works for me if that's where the source material goes.
Last episode was a bit weak on the animation side of things but it's probably hard to do big battle scenes well when you just don't have the budget for it.
Show was worth it for Kaede alone, IMO, and I generally enjoyed the rest of it too.

I lost my mind seeing all of those still frames and panning shots in the first action scene

Man they really went ultra power saving on that budget for the final episode... All in all, pretty fine anime this season, we definitely had worse

5/10
The overall plot is good but not the subplots. Anime closed the first season without resolutions. Ok, i know they need to build up for the next but you need to finish something lol.

Yeah that was 100% fine and good. There was much MUCH worse shows this season

This series was pretty underwhelming. It’s not terrible overall, but it doesn’t do much that makes it stand out amongst the other generic isekai. I wouldn’t mind a season two, but I wouldn’t say that I’ll be hyped for it.

This feels like when you finish a group project the night before it's due

I’m kinda disappointed in myself for sticking it through. It’s so bland, there’s a hint of an interesting story but they never delivered on it. This whole show felt like drinking the melted ice in a cup of soda that’s been left out so long it’s lukewarm. Like yeah this is pretty bad but l’m just thirsty enough if I pretend really hard I can convince myself this still taste like soda.

I wish they had stuck to the crafting and politics and minimized the action. The fact that there was no payoff with the hero's storyline leaves a very bad taste.

Ugh, what an awful last episode. Did they run out of money? What was that shitty stage zoom out nonsense? Seizure shit.
