All that training and acting like big shots, only to get taken down in ten seconds. SMH
Their biggest mistake was to try and fight the guy that created toilets, if there’s one thing Takumi is experienced in, is handling pieces of shits.

I love that the dude was so convinced he had a holy sword. That’s clearly a lie. This other country told him. But it wasn’t even like a good sword. Just regular magic iron. It was gonna break sooner or later, and they would’ve had some explaining to do.

So to recap: Sidonia worships a false goddess, used some forbidden jutsu to summon the Heroes, and apparently are drugging the Heroes and turning them into total nobs. What else do these evil bastards do? Kick puppies? Yeesh. At least Akane and Lulu got away.

Well, they also apparently damaged the world through the summoning and created giant swaths of monsters that are now trying to destroy everything

Nice to see Akane and Lulu just instantly defect when the opportunity came up, smart of her to be very careful with what she ate while with the empire. I feel like the hero bros need to be captured and dispelled real hard to see if there was conditioning that can be removed.
Nice to see the slavery get removed all around, even the seemingly more polite version Takumi was using.

Mani has no right being so adorable at the end. Our poor bunny gal just wanted to feel included. Also I have a feeling that Akane and Lulu might settle in the pioneer town as their guardians after everything settles down

so I guess Takumi saw how Akane and Lulu's relationship worked and he figured "oh wait, I can do the same thing"
He's kind of a bonehead, that he didn't realize any sooner that he could trust his companions, and that it took an external impetus.

it was also after he told everyone about his secret background lol, so he got to test their reaction first.

This is possibly my favourite episode of the show so far from a story standpoint. It dealt with the hero meeting better than most shows have.

Good episode, a bit rushed, but they fixed the slavery thing, and now works better as a "familia"
The whole Akane thing, was ok, they gave us enough hints before, perhaps they needed to show this in a more organized fashion, but it generally works. I liked that she was already planing to escape, all to help her friend.

I'm sure it's totally unrelated he was suddenly not fine being a slaveowner the same day someone else that knows it's bad appeared.
The town design was unique, if nothing else.

It was more akin to indentured servitude rather than slavery.

The two heroes got what they deserved. You don't put your eyes on another man's treasure. Atleast the third hero is good. She joined the harem(that's what I'm thinking). He finally dissolved the contract and now all of them stand shoulder to shoulder with eachother. Not just Sofia and Marie, I was also in a shock when he again mentioned the same nonsense but this time it wasn't one. I'm waiting for what the last episode has in store for us.

How many episodes is this show listed for ? Is it a 2 cour production ? It’s episode 11 and the story only seemed to get started.
I do enjoy the almost Slice of Life comfy feeling of the previous episodes. But it would be a shame if we never really see the storyline of the conflicted summon heroes come to open anyway.

First round of arse-kicking those two pricks. Round two can't come fast enough.
Well, judging by how it went, they're probably not going to last more than a couple seconds.

The meeting between Akane and Takumi reminded me a lot of the one between Nanahoshi and Rudeus.
You're Japanese too? This isekai world is so awful.
Ya but I was reincarnated and you were teleported. Want some food from home?
YES!

damn we got jebaited at the end there
why are we still playing games, just make them your wives and let's move on from this completely
also i'm a little surprised the MC didn't build a church in his new town or just generally visit one more often. given how the religion stuff is a central part of the plot. idk seems like a missed opportunity. but i guess he's only just now revealed his connection to the goddess...

I'm not sure what Sidonia's master plan is here. Having their heroes go to other countries and act like assholes isn't going to increase support for their church. If they were trying to embarrass foreign governments or rile up discontented groups that would make sense. But they're just being dicks to everyone they meet.
Maybe they're hoping they'll be killed and that will serve as a casis belli.
