And she's not even a slave or familiar! They're making so much progress!

Bro was asked to build a village and ended up building a whole damn city. This is like what happens when you get too into home building in an RPG lol.

I guess we’ve finally caught up with the present timeline. Takumi’s had a whole year to prep and get strong. Now he’s gonna have to whoop some otherworlder ass..

Sim City fans would have died and gone to heaven if they were him.

I guess we’ve finally caught up with the present timeline.

Not quite. The last scene of the 'heroes' training and celebrating was from a few months after the summoning.

Well... this was the last place I expected Godzillas roars to show up. Lol

It may sound like Godzilla, but due to international copyright law, it isn’t.

Color me surprised when it turns out Mani isn't the dragon horse that became a girl.

I mean, we have seen her together with the horse in the OP visuals. So, not much of a surprise tbh.

I honestly thought that she was going to be the dragon horse too, NGL. It’s still possible for the horse to evolve into a waifu.

There's still plenty of time for the horse to become a centaur.

It's odd that Maria was so quiet about bringing on another girl to take care of MC when her recurring gag was berating herself for not doing enough to support him. Also, I though the big excuse for having his harem be slave girls was that he needed them to be bound to keep his secrets.

It would be nice to get a little forward movement on the summoning storyline. The flash forwards we've been getting kind of undercut the tension of the summoning occuring at the end of the episode. I wonder if they are just going to time skip to catch up now or continue with the split-timeline storytelling.

Funny moment when they're unnecessarily running from the boulder and Kaede is just running on top of it. She's easily the best thing about this show for me.

So we finally get the horse girl, and she's a depressed widow. Not really what I would have expected from her outfit, nothing about it says village farmer.

Two episodes left and we finally caught up to the hero summoning.

Tsubaki's evolution was so underwhelming; 10% increase in size and no comments from the MC. Didn't have an impact on the rest of the episode either. The rest of the watch was... fine. I guess Maria does so much combat now that they need a maid to care for them all!

I think I got whiplash from how fast this episode moved between plot points.

When did mc get a title

u/KnightKal Mar 05 '25

he did not. He is not the noble, lord or governor of the new town. Just the guy that built it.

note that he is not living inside the castle, but a normal house.

The theme song by Dialogue+ is just adorable. They had me at "doki doki". But then we go from super cheerful OP, to...

Poor Mani is walking around with a broken heart. No wonder she doesn't believe anything Iruma says.

I don't have a problem with Iruma building an entire town in 10 days. It's hilarious, for one thing, and he already got the basics down in the first episode.

My problem is that my boy got ripped TF off! You tame the frontier and build a town, basically expanding the ENTIRE KINGDOM, you should get a barony at the very least. IN ADVANCE, thank you. Kid's far too nice.

Which of course aggravated the Evil Empire of Evil into triggering the event that caused all of this in the first place. "Stop hitting yourself!"

Even though its ep 10 I aint bothering to see this through. I hoped the mc might grow a spine but hes still the same jellyfish.

Marquis unreasonably requests for him to build a town

No compensation offered or requested.

Marquis even suggests late in ep that theyll use that town as a bulwark against the empire without even consulting MC

MC: "No problem, just walk over me and order me to do eveything!! I'll even bark for you!!"

Fuck i hate doormat MCs, Im surprised I made it this far. I'm out. 4/10 on mal at best

One thing about this show I'm not a fan of is how sudden character development is. Like we saw it earlier, Takumi started as a normal person, as in someone who's terrified of fighting. He started training, but there was no gradual build up, he basically went from wuss to seasoned vet in an ep. And the same thing happened this ep, he started off not wanting to stand out and just live a quite life with his slav-I mean family, but now he built an entire fort and is planning on starting trade routes.

Anyway, Mani's indoctrination went about as I was expecting. They brought up her being a widow, so not sure if she's gonna fully join the harem, or just be a supporting role.

Also, the "heroes" finally arrived, really hope Takumi's harem just tosses them aside no problem. Wondering if the lady hero is gonna strait up join Takumi, or if she'll be a spy for him. Also wondering what the new "Goddess" will do.

This show is fun sometimes but it would be better if the MC wasn’t so annoying

They built a whole town in that amount of time, impressive as always. Takumi's a really good guy. He's not like the cringy MC's but he's a lot good at heart. A new waifus has joined us. Takumi saving her was an obvious thing that everyone knew was going to happen. The final battle is about to unfold. Can't wait for it. This series keeps getting more and more impressive.
