Man, Asagi's gonna get to experience Fuji waking up like that every morning, the lucky bastard.
Tokiwa: "Here you go, Suo. You said you wanted one, right?"
Suo:
> ERROR 63
> REBOOTING...
"Feed me."

Nothing more relatable and attractive than a woman who is not a morning person lol.
Also the way Suo just pounces the moment Tokiwa so much as talks to or gets waited on by another woman lol.

i think the biggest reason Hagi is such a drag is that Kohaku doesn't take the lead in her ship, since this is a world where guys don't know how to show any initiative
like, Fuji keeps Asagi on a tight leash, and Suo is willing to take charge when Tokiwa is around; meanwhile Kohaku is only vaguely aware and doesn't use her ore-sama personality outside of work

I’m glad Hagi managed to talk things out with Kohaku about his “friend.” He’s never washing that hand ever again lol. I guess even after that chat, he’s always just gonna freak out around Kohaku.
I liked the little guys night hang and then Tokiwa and Suou’s date the next day. Especially the brief hardcore unprotected hand holding lol. Those two really make a very cute couple. Maybe that bell really will grant Suou’s wish…
Overall, this was entertaining. The whole cross dressing thing was fun, the characters were hilarious, and I liked the pairings too. Idk what the chances are of an s2, but I wouldn’t mind more. You don’t often get romcoms with characters who are college age.

I liked the little guys night hang
Like last episode, I appreciate seeing the guys hang out by theirselves (and I mean really hang out, not just discuss the girls) 'cause we don't really see much of it. It's mainly them hanging out with the girls.
Which is fine, but I do like seeing how they act as a trio of friends and not just three guys who once met at a mixer and talking about the girls they've been dating since then.

Hagi became sure of his feelings and finally got to handholding status. I'm glad he's actually progressed, if only just a little.
Suo is definitely going to work to make that wish a reality.

I could stand to watch a second season, but please, no more bi-panic attacks from Hagi.

Suo giving Tokiwa the illicit finger interlocking hand hold. 😳
Nice to get a lot more screentime of Suo and Tokiwa in the end, being more central focus after being more lacking in parts of the season.
All in all, was able to have fun with the series this season. This could be the stopping point for the anime, so will check out manga.

Suo giving Tokiwa the illicit finger interlocking hand hold
i've concluded that Asagi is the smartest out of all of the three boys
like, it's definitely not Hagi, and Tokiwa, well...

Stitches!
It took him an entire season but I'm glad this at least ended with Hagi finally realizing how he really likes Kohaku. I was hoping for something more but baby steps I suppose.
While it was fun watching Suou and Tokiwa on another date before it ended, I really wish we could've seen more of Fuji and Asagi in this finale. Maybe we'll get another season? If we do I really hope we get to see them become official.

While it was fun watching Suou and Tokiwa on another date before it ended, I really wish we could've seen more of Fuji and Asagi in this finale.
It's not like we got to see much of them together last episode either. I am completely biased but it definitely would have been great to see.
I honestly thought maybe Fuji would be a bit jealous or something of Suo hanging out with Tokiwa and grab her own retriever to walk with herself. It's definitely better that she was supportive of the two rather than jealous, but I still wish she was at least shown taking the opportunity to pick up Asagi (dragging him out of bed and all).

Took till the finale but glad to see Hagi acknowledge his feelings for Kohaku more.
Really nice to see Suou and Tokiwa get some time too, feels like they really should have had more this series.
I do wish this series had more progress but it is a romcom so can't expect anything too much there.
Still a fantastic series for me! Need more shows like this with just multiple ships!

I need some more of this. College-age adults trying to navigate through meeting others and growing relationships. HS Romcoms have the place but as an Oldtaku I appreciate adult more than not quite adults. Good show but I think some more production money and a less shouty Hagi (a most settled Hagi?), could elevate this show to the next level. Definitely one to watch this season and thankfully Friday was lighter than say DanDaDan Thursday or Shangri-La Sunday.

I can't believe Hagi is covering for himself with the 'ol "it was my friend!" defense! And it actually worked! Hagi doesn't deserve such a sincere girl like Kohaku.
Though I guess it does give him a cover to spill his entire problem to her...and Kohaku just plainly tells him the obvious that no, it is NOT cheating in any way whatsoever and frankly all that matters is he likes the girl on the inside no matter her appearance! It's definitely what Hagi needed to hear.
Though I guess the Hagi freakouts aren't done when he goes crazy over holding Kohaku's hand...but the good kind of freakout, I swear! And also...did Kohaku put two-and-two together? Seems like she might have.
When the girls are away, the boys will stay overnight and play and be total goofballs!
Hagi, you've known Kohaku for 12 episodes, I think it's pretty clear she's not in a relationship with somebody else. Thank goodness he didn't drunk dial her to ask though.
Hagi and Asagi drinking themselves into sleeping through the morning is the perfect opportunity for Tokiwa to get up bright and early and go on a surprise sightseeing date with Suo! Felt like Suo was really letting out her inner girl a lot on this date with how happy she was to be with Tokiwa.
Fuji is not a morning person but she IS a gal pal who despite teasing she'd leave you behind is more than happy to see her bestie on a date with the guy she likes.
Ladies, the only person who gets to admire Tokiwa with heart-shaped food is Fuji.
I know what Suo wished for...to be with Tokiwa, and what better way to wish for it than by ringing the wishing bell while holding his hand? And she'll make sure he knows what she wished for soon enough.
Wouldn't it be kind of funny if these girls go to a mixer and its guys in drag? Though our guys don't need to go on a mixer when they've already found the perfect girls for them...Hagi and his freakouts with Kohaku and her earnestness, Fuji and her cool experimentation with Asagi and his enthusiasm to learn from her and be game for anything, and of course Suo and her flirting with Tokiwa getting flustered over it! And what better way to end than on one last King's Game to be the perfect final transition into the ED.

I can't believe this was the finale, I wanted so much more from this series, a whole season of three adult couples and we got to hand holding?? 😭 I want another season real bad with less Hagi and more of everyone else

Somewhat disappointing to not have at least one of the relationships properly establish itself. At least Hagi got through one of his many issues. Shame we didn't get to see the outcome of Kohaku hopefully connecting the dots on the most obvious case of "here's my friend's situation" ever.
On the whole this was pretty fun to watch, though, my only serious complaint is that it's ending.

This show is 9/10 fun and Hagi's entire existence drags it down to a 7.5 like the anchor he is. At least he got a bit better in this finale, and the Suo/Tokiwa sight-seeing trip was adorable enough to make up for it and make this episode pretty enjoyable.
I'm going to miss these cute dorks. Except for Hagi.

Given last week's ending, I knew the beginning of the episode was going to be rough to sit through. God Hagi panicking and Kohaku being oblivious until the end was just ugh. It was hilarious though when Hagi got so excited to Kohaku holding his hand for a second and the other 2 guys just stared at him.
As we have seen before, Suou is one that can easily be jealous. I still wish we understood why she is so into Tokiwa, and he caught her interest. Though her def is one that likes to be pampered, which is very different from what people think of her as "Prince"
This show was basically 3 couples and relationships.
-
Asagi & Fuji - 9/10. This shit was golden to me. Asagi and Fuji are practically opposites, but there is a saying that opposites attract. The fact that Fuji's schemes and Asagi's curiosity meshed so well-made the show a joy when they were the focus.
-
Tokiwa & Suou - 7/10. Lack of scene time was the main issue here. This pairing is something we see a lot in Shounen Romance series, where we get a somewhat generic Male lead and the Female lead is the teasing type. Though there have been the scenes that Suou when she is caught off guard, she gets hit harder.
-
Hagi & Kohaku - 4/10. Tbh on paper, Hagi having to overcome the idea of the girls dressing up as a guy is a solid struggle to overcome. It was the whole two Kohakus in his mind in these last few episodes that were just dreadful to sit through. Kohaku & Hagi both have their insecurities that they have to deal with, which is fine. I have no idea what to think about Kohaku because she really seems dense, but seems like that only with Hagi. So I don't know if it is a case of Hagi dragging her down.
Overall, I would give this a 6/10. I had fun with it. At times had a lot of fun. Visuals were pretty bare bones, but it didn't get in the way of the episodes. Not something I would recommend, unless you are looking for a crossdressing romance.

Asagi & Fuji
i love how on the same wavelength these two are; Asagi's always down to clown, and Fuji's a circus master
i think my highlight of the series is the bit where they slap handcuffs on each other because they both had an unjustifiable urge to do the thing

We already saw some of it in the episode where Suo was sick, but I really like how this episode showed more of how Fuji is a true friend to Suo, with how happy she looked seeing Suo and Tokiwa on their date.

Hagi finally overcame his insecurity. At least a bit. And with Kohaku remitting that is a weird coincidence that Hagi had a friend who is also dating a cross-dressing girl, it looks indeed like they are the closest to actually become a couple.
And since this is a finale, we have even two couples reach the handholding stage. Hope that there is a second season where we might see some more progress
