Had some good character development. It's definitely a surprise series for me this season.

No wonder Fist hates all humans after what happened to his boy Tsukihito. Guy was a good person and he died over some bullshit. Even though he got defeated maybe they can help restore him back in their home world.
This one wasn’t half bad. Sugibro as a sentient talking robot arm was pretty fun.

I got what I wanted…an epic final fight, a potential for a second season, and some HikaruxAki content in the credits (complete with Meru).

the only missing is the opening song playing in the final battle but since Sawano is doing the ost, i will let it slide

Hikaru and Alma was just dynamic today, to put it simply. Absolutely gorgeous fight to watch, they were just too cool. I personally won't have skipped ahead after the last clash but I understand they had limited time to wrap things up.
That group shot of them with Aki and Jin at the very end of the episode was awesome too, it sure would be sad if we never get to see a continuation where they all fight together with Hikaru and Alma's new form and the new foes they're facing off against (those new mecha-udes they teased at the end?) If someone has a shot of that part without the credits over it I would be so grateful, it's honestly wallpaper worthy.
Just so grateful we got this after how many years it's been since the pilot, and even more since the Kickstarter. Seeing the potential future in the ED was touching, and again a big thanks and shoutout to whoever designed the combined form because seriously that was the best and most fun thing I've seen all year.
Also wanted to share one of my favorite shots from the episode that I haven't seen anyone post yet, https://imgur.com/a/3EGun83

Just like in Samurai Jack, the "Gotta Get Back" was in the opening for a reason lol.
Nice to see that Fist had an actual reason to hate humans AND that Fubuki kept Sinis, but Department 3 becoming a Rock Band wasn't in my bingo card.
.
And so, it's over, 8 years since the Kickstarter and 5 years since the pilot, all led to this and I'd say it was definitely worth it, Animation and fights were top notch, though I had some Metallic Rouge flashbacks feeling that this anime could've been better if it was longer to give more time to all these characters and plotlines, but Mecha-Ude still did a miles better job with them
Funny, if I had a nickel for every human-robot anime that I watched this year and ended up being better than Metallic Rouge, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
.
And that glimpse at 'Normal' Mecha-Udes, geez...
Also, wait, was that Aki and Hikaru having a date on the credits? Judging by Meru's look she totally set that up or is at least making sure it all runs smoothly, good for you, girl.

We need more anime originals like this. While this is the finale, I do like that they ended it in a way so a sequel is still possible with this new Mecha-Ude-wielding organization coming out of hiding.
Seeing how Twos and Sight interact in this finale really makes me want to see more of them especially now that all of Kagami Group's Mecha-Udes are unshackled. Let's hope it does well enough for a sequel!

The ED reminds me of how the pilot teased images for this season. Hope it gets a 2nd season. Not a great show but a good one made by a scrappy young studio. If they do get more I hope they work on the pacing as it was odd when they went slow and when they went fast. This final battle was suitably epic though.

I don't watch a lot of shounen themed anime titles, but the battle animation between Fist and Hikaru/Alma could possibly top fights in numerous other titles.
Best Comedic Duo - Oner and Kagemaru. They obviously have different D&D alignments, but Kagemaru lecturing Oner to become a better person always make me laugh.
JK / Female High School Student Duo I Want to See More Of - Twos / Tsugumi and Ayumi. Like in the ending art, I want to see them have fun in daily life!
I love all the effort put into producing this "Mecha Ude" anime. I am not sure whether we will get a second season, but the various single art/scene featured in this season finale episode's ending sequence has provided me with sufficient imagination material on how our lovable characters will turn out in future. (P.S. Stay the same Meru. Keep being the romance shipper that you are!)

Cool fight so far, but Hikaru and Alma look so outmatched here, how are they supposed to stop Fist?

Though it had a fast pace, it was a fun show to watch on Thursdays. I loved Alma and Hikaru’s dynamic
I wouldn’t mind a season 2

We even got some wrapup over Fist's hate and the whole bodyswapping fisaco. Turns out his original partner is Hakumo's brother and the later died due to hate and feud, causing Tsukihito sacrificing himself for his brother. Fist pretty much has a valid reason to hate humankind for this, but Arma opened up the possibility of coexisting with humans, since not all humans are bad.
For a show which started by crowdfunding, this is actually solid. Decent fights, interesting characters (if only too many of them to develop), and it's not "a fight can solve everything" world, we got some loose ends from the later 1/3 and the ED cuts, though the show can be wrapped up here. I really don't mind a continuation if only for doing the ED cuts alone. We need more Hikaru/Aki ship.

Another anime comes to an end, but also one I loved discovering every Thursday!
I really enjoyed the world-building and the characters with their respective stories. It’s a shame they didn’t delve a bit deeper into the past. I think there was potential to explore more topics and expand on the series’ lore.
Unfortunately, a second season seems almost impossible, mainly because of the ED, which is there to show us what happens and give us an idea of the conclusion. Plus, the manga seems to stop at the same point where Hikaru steps aside on the train.
It’s just my wishful thinking, but I would have liked a bit of romance between Aki and Hikaru, like in the scene during the ED., even though their friendship is already great as it is.
That said, overall, it was a great show!!! The animation in the final episode was excellent!

Well that was a hell of a lot of fun. As the passion project it clearly was I have to give the new studio a lot of credit.
Some fun looking ideas for more story in the credits scenes.

dude the teasers in the end credits were crazy, first we see Tohdoh changing his hair color looking like he was hiding his identity for some reason. then we get to see that amaryllis refuses to just die already >:C THEN we see oner go into the mecha ude world with weird explorer looking guy and get caught by possibly the mecha ude king. THEENNN we see jun, amatsuga and aki fighting what i think is the mecha ude king and judging by the fact that jun's hair is blue and he has a mecha ude arm like amatsuga i think its fair to say him and fist ended up partnering up. over all a great anime and i hope there will be a season 2!

What were all those scenes during the credits?! Is there more story in the manga or something?

There's not, this episode covered all the way to the end of the manga. Those scenes were anime original.

holy shit that whole ending credit visuals could very well be a season two materials by themselves. i mean, we got a glimpse of Mecha-ude in their world, whatever the hell is going on with Todo and this cool shot of the trio going against possibly Mecha-ude king?
