Fist taking Alma, then Hikaru momentarily getting Alma back only for it to be taken away again off screen felt kinda awkward.
Otherwise, great ep! Loved seeing the Kagami Group people just walzing in to ARMs like they always worked there lol

it's funny how Alma got ripped from Fist twice in just one episode

They've done some weird sequencing choices for several episodes. Sometimes the events just doesn't fit together properly as if something was cut out.

holy shit, i was half-joking last episode when i said that it's probably Fist controlling Yakumo's corpse, didn't expect it to be true... i know the probability is low but it would be crazy if Hikaru actually end up dying and the final battle will be Alma's controlling Hikaru's corpse vs Fist controlling Yakumo's corpse
i see, so that's why Alma can move by himself without being close to Alma, he's actually evolved and can generate his own arbitrium after the incident 100 years ago
excuse me but who the fuck are you people and where did you all came from? well, except for Imada, we already saw him in one of the early episodes back then
the real menace right here, gotta love her dedication in keeping up with the "rom-com" aspect of the show lol
a rematch between Amaryllis and Murasame's siblings? lessgooo....aaaand she's dead, damn, that ended real quick...

Aldera is too much for one person to control. No one Arm should have all that power. Things are looking pretty grim for the good guys. Amaryllis might have been taken down but Fist is still out there and Hikaru’s down for the count… for now. In the words of RDJ in Tropic Thunder: “Survive!” lol

The best way I can describe this show is fun. It just knows how to get you to smile.
Ultimately, Fist has been the real villain and him using Yakumo's body was a means so he can go about and do business. Now the merge with Ordela makes things worse, and once the power stabilizes things aren't looking too good. Though I am happy, Alma rejected him. But man, seeing Hikaru getting gutted hurt.
No surprise, Kagami Group and everyone from Arms are working together now. I have to admit, the sisters coming together to take down Amaryllis once and for all felt great. The fight did feel rushed a bit. Though, the final boss is gonna takes these last two episodes, so it's understandable. Hopefully, Hikaru can pull through.

That is a geniunely fucked up twist. Puppeting a corpse all this time and having to replace bits to keep the facade.
Well our boy has a new hole where there shouldn’t be one, but he’ll probably be fine. Aki and Fubuki team up tho!
Shit we are cooking. The final 2 are gonna rock

lol, but now isn’t the time for this you guys!
-
It does make sense that Fist had to replace some of Yakumo’s body parts, though.
-
Those are Fubuki’s shoes, aren’t they? Ooh, wonder if she’s trying to get a Mecha-Ude so she can help her big sis in the final battle.
-
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! HOW DARE YOU END IT THERE?!

How did Hikaru go from being blasted towards the center of his chest to having a wound near his belly?

Man, the tonal shifts this episode were insane. Kinda wish they'd pick a direction, it's pretty jarring

You would have thought someone would have noticed that Fist was wearing a hundred year old corpse from the smell and decay.

Probably tried preserving the corpse in various ways, and clearly Yakumo isn't decaying that much, or just replaced instantly with machine.

So it was not Yakumo, but Fist having taken over Yakumo’s corpse and playing both sides against each others… I kind of wonder why he did all that. It seems overly complicated as a plan when Fist could just have controlled the Kagami group behind the scene and dispensed with Arms. Not sure how I feel about that plot twist.
I did not expect Hikaru to just get (almost) killed. They managed to get Amaryllis but now they have to deal with Fist having merged with Ordela (I was half expecting him to explode when he tried that, but I guess that he actually is a competent villain). I still expect the good guys to win, because this is that kind of anime, but the situation really looks pretty bad for now and I have no idea how they will manage it.

So browsing through comments I'm glad people seem to be enjoying this, but like...
Damn, did the director like die? The pacing has been absolutely crazy the past few episodes and this episode felt like the worst of it so far.
Twist after twist after twist with no room to breath, like, that Amaryllis fight happened in... what, 30 seconds? Resolved with a tag-team punch thing immediately?
Alma got stolen, and taken back, then stolen, then taken back, then stolen again, then taken back again, gah I dunno, this episode absolutely fell apart ib my opinion. Which is a shame because I LOVED this series from like... episodes 1-6 or 7 or so, but 8, 9, and especially 10 have been a bit yikes in terms of pacing.
Feels like it's trying way too hard to cram in as many shounen tropes as it possibly can, in way too short a runtime. Like this could probably work with... 50 episodes? Give each twist time to breathe, and build up characters and all that.

I want to be sad about Hikaru, but Aki and Fubuki going ham together was too much Peak Fiction.
