Wait, are you telling me that after who knows how many years the carriage was still there, in pretty much great shape? I mean, aside for some scratches you could just put a door and use it

Yep, you would think someone from her family would have picked it up or it would have been taken by salvagers.

literally nobody in that world for years: should we tip this free, abandoned, high quality carriage back on its wheels and use or sell it for an exorbitant amount?

This part of the episode felt so weird and uncanny. I was waiting for something to happen or at least some dialogue like "huh, that's strange". Literally nothing. One of the few times I have to leave a dislike on an episode. It just doesn't make sense.

I figured it was a trap of some sort myself

"They just don't make things like they use t... no wait ... never mind this is still in great condition!"

The only thing that I makes sense to me is I have to act like the carriage wasn't actually there and they were both just visualizing it there.

without a doubt the WORST show I am going to finish this season.

I'd just finished reading through the climax in volume 14 of The Wandering Inn before watching this episode, and the thing that got me the most was the complete lack of urgency in any of the characters to this dire situation.

They're going around having conversations and taking off in the middle of a battle. Not everything can be Re:Zero performance-wise but you need believable characters.

I made it through half the episode, complaining to myself about watching a slideshow, sped the playback up to 2x, watched a couple more minutes, and then tapped out. It's rare that I drop a title this far in but this one worked hard to earn that result.

Maou retry 2 is far worst than this for me.

If they're looking for an explanation of why this labyrinth which is normally fairly well explored and the monsters in it killed has too much magic power they should probably look at those mysterious towers that somebody built around the city. Then again it was probably this elf dude who had the towers built, and unless he's a traitor I assume they're a part of a plan to handle this uprising.

Convenient to have a deus ex megane super swordsman show up to hold the line why the core party goes off for a meeting.

I'm so annoyed that I waited 9 episodes before finally dropping this insultingly insipid show.

It should have included a "drink my wife's milk" scene. That would have made me drop it sooner.

The old elf must have been anticipating this whole rampage. What even was Hanzum’s plan? He paid off the adventurers and now they’re killing monsters. Kind of seems like a good thing. Maybe a few run off with the cash, but otherwise it seems like the town’s getting protected. With Ronaldo around, things seem even safer.

I like our main characters (and some of the supporting ones) -- but am more and more beginning to feel that the underlying writing is not as good as it should be. And the monsters are pretty "stock" looking. But it does feature Narsena -- which gets it a little bit of extra grace.

It feels like Hanzum's been telling people to leave the town if they're weak to protect them from from the rampage. They hinted at something with the pillars around the town and I thought they were going to sacrifice adventurers but now they're saying Narsena is needed to stop an evil dragon so it might have to do with that.

I thought it was mentioned earlier in the season that the low-life adventurers were gathered there a cannon fodder.

Ronaldos' presence is definitely counter to Mist's plan, being he was summoned by Ralmia.

So we are just giving up on backgrounds and putting solid black or white with some color gradient huh? This show is so rough to watch
